This place is a jewel in Mineola. Took my family there this weekend and had some outstanding bbq. I'm pretty picky when it comes to brisket and I was pretty blown away by theirs. Bark had tones of flavor and the brisket was tender as you would want it to be. The only knock I had and this is just personal preference was the okra was a little to salty. The potato salad was a stand out as well. I'll keep coming back to this place for sure
Great lunch in Mineola. Shared a 2 Meat plate, perfect portions. Took Jalapeño Sausage home for dinner. Excellent ! Enjoyed trying different drinks ! Friendly, fun service. We will be back.

CowBurners BBQ has great tasting meats with some flavorful sides and an extensive beer selection. They have a number of beers on tap and a well stocked beer fridge featuring beers from Texas breweries.I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the meats, but if you’re there on a Friday or Saturday make sure to get some of the rib candy. It’s like jerky and Dr Pepper candy had a sweet and tender love child. Take advantage of their illicit union and put some in your belly!
