Booths and tables are kinda uncomfortable, but the food is to die for. Mel can really throw down in the kitchen! You have to try the macaroni shrimp salad side and the chicken fried chicken ?
This place was very delicious, we were around the area for a mini getaway and found this place was near us. We were very satisfied with the customer service, our waitress was very attentive and sweet. The appetizers were very good portions to begin our meal. And the burgers were very delicious. If you plan on coming here definitely try their shakes. We had the golden monkey shake and it was so good, we hope to be back soon.

I love that there is a new place in the area to eat when visiting family. Not only is the food fresh, but the staff treats you like family. If you haven't already, order the jalapeño poppers to start and a milkshake to finish. The food is filling, fresh, and full of flavor: just like Mama's.
