I ordered my food at the drive thru and pulled around the corner to wait for our car to get next to the window. There are 3 cars ahead of us. The first car is just chatting up with the lady at the window. She was talking to her for about 15 minutes after we got there, there was a massive line of cars behind us. We were not the only ones upset about this the car behind her was honking . This happened at Saturday April 13, 2024 at 9:05 is when we pulled up. It’s now 9:20 and the lady she was talking to drove off. But this is ridiculous! We got to the window and the tacos my husband ordered were soggy. So we declined for them to make more. When we got to the window our drinks were not made. Very frustrating. I don’t think I’ll come to this DQ again.

Went there today at 8:40 pm. All lights were closed , staff told us through the drive through window that the restaurant is closed. I am sure they were lying, I guess they just wanted to get out of there quickly.

Do not go here! They've been terrible ever since covid, but the icing on the cake is when I took my small children in for free cone day and I was told with a deadpan face they weren't doing free cones. When I questioned why I was told simply, "the owner". No apology. My 3 year old was in tears as we left because he was promised ice cream, but I'm not giving this place a dime of my money. We'll find another place to go .

Mary here will yell at you if you annoy her. Today she yelled at my husband because he wasn't fast enough at operating the app. On top of that the black guy came out from behind the counter...effectively threatening us. This place closes at 6pm....can you believe that. Non-caring owner runs the place on a shoe string staff that is over worked and grumpy. Don't you hate to go out for a fun ice cream and get abused and yelled at by minimum wage staff? We have tried to give this place several tries but invariably end up at the professionally run and well staffed Hwy 90 and 1092 location. They stay open normal hours, are nice or extremely nice, and honor the app offers with no problem. Avoid this blight on our community and instead go to the nice DQ on Hwy 90. Don't go to the one on Texas Parkway....they will flatly refuse the app offers.

As you can see by reading all the reviews here, this place is on its last legs. Don't go here or to the one on Texas Parkway. Instead go to the one near Highway 90 and 1092. That one is fully and professionally staffed by nice people, open normal hours, and they honor the app offers without resistance.This restaurant is barely staffed, making the staff grumpy. Your first sign of trouble is that the dining room closes at an unheard of since 1940 time of 6pm. They will always stop taking orders of stuff by 8:30p, even if closing time is supposedly 10, which it isn't, it's 9.Mary has always had attitude but I worked around her until yesterday when she yelled at me for taking up too much of her time with my order. The guy from the kitchen came out and come out from behind the counter to confront me...that constitutes a threat. Mary finished with me by saying she would never take an order from me again. I'm a nice guy but I have a family that is picky about their food and it takes me time to put in an order....Mary has no time for that.This location is owned by a man that goes way back in Houston. He is old and totally hands off and doesn't care how the restaurant is run, he just cares that it continues to give him an ever dwindling paycheck. Mary is a low level employee of limited intelligence that is essentially serving as the owner, the manager, the cook, the janitor, and the cashier, that is when she's not busy yelling at, intimidating, and physically threatening the few customers that come here.
Ice cream was good ! The customer service here deserves a zero. When I pulled up to the window, I said hello and was met with 6.05. No hello or anything. The guy looked like he was a manager too. Just a heads up.. screen who you hire!! Cause that gentleman doesn’t belong at the drive thru window..my credentials.. I’m a fast casual restaurant manager.

At the location 5801 HWY 6 SMissouri City, TX 77459United States The employee was a chubby black woman who was very rude and mean. She asked a Caucasian man and an Asian woman who came first. The Asian woman replied, "I came first." Then the employee spoke to the Asian woman with the rude and mean attitude: "I just asked!..." then she commanded : "come here! Order!"What a rude attitude! This employee needs to be retrained in customer service.Dairy Queen products are great and they must be accompanied by good customer service for the complete enjoyment of the delicious Dairy Queen food.
