The delivery service is less than desirable. We've eaten here before without complaint on the signature chicken fried chicken and sides. I recommend choosing what they make best. Since COVID began we started using delivery services. First service food was delivered and spilled over but because we experienced good service prior to the breakout we decided to order again given it's a local business. Should have kept my $75 in my pocket or chosen another establishment. I only give 3 stars because dining in or pick up is much better. Wasted money on shrimp poboy that had zero seasoning, vegetables and bread were soggy and the delivery driver left it at the front door without calling or ringing door bell while it was raining. Had to dump the entire contents for Poboy and share my entree with family. Desert was salvaged but ice cream was totally melted. Should have taken a picture immediately. Called management to inform and no one was answering the phone. They can do much better than this and should stop using DoorDash for deliveries

Great food but please get a Second phone line so we don't have to drive and place order and wait. Troed calling 10 minutes straight and it just hangs up on me. Very frustrating

I debated between a 1 and 2 star review for this place. I went here for brunch on a Sunday. It wasn't overly crowded and staff were nice. After ordering brunch items, our party of 2 waited 49 minutes for our food. The French toast was one slice of mediocre French toast. The poached eggs were over cooked and very acidic. Maybe poached in vinegar water? Hashbrowns were over seasoned with something resembling old bay seasoning. The whole experience was mediocre at best.

First time and last time. I went because my son is 7 months and I don't give him baby food in a jar so I went to get mash potatoes should've went to Kroger's across the street and got instant mash. Also I ordered peach cobbler and that no mf peaches called to get a refund and the guy said he couldn't process it because it passed the time pictured is the dry peach cobbler minus the peaches

Haven’t been here in quite some time, but it’s very nice. I haven’t eaten my food yet but it looks absolutely delicious. Very nice atmosphere for such a small place. I would definitely recommend it. The gentleman running the front taking orders is very pleasant!

I normally don't have issue with them but today I ordered a pick up for the catfish plate and my fish was extremely over cooked! Looked and had the taste of burnt in some areas. My cut fries were really soggy as well.
Cornmeal crusted fish was good. I had to doctor it up just a little with seasons once I got home. The fries were a no for me this time around & I didn't like the taste of the ketchup

We stopped in after a day of sight seeing in Houston. We're out of town but were staying in the area. It was well after the lunch rush so it was quiet. Upon recommendation I got the chicken fried chicken, it was amazing! I also got their sweet potato fries. My kids got the tacos Al carbon and fried fish, both were pleased with their food. Then we got dessert to go. Red velvet cake, oreo cheesecake and the white chocolate bread pudding. Sooo good!

Three stars for overall an average experience and quality of food. Came for lunch and had no clue whether we were to sit down or where we would order before sitting down. The employee who took our order was nice which was a saving grace for the restaurant because nothing inside is very clear or inviting. Fries came out cold, and no silverware was given to use for eating. Got the catfish and it was okay. Nothing to write home about. If you're looking for an average experience and average food this is the place. Just okay, not great.

This place never disappoints. I love come here for brunch on the weekends I typically get the sausage & biscuits plate. It's wonderful. More recently came in fir lunch, got the pig's delight sandwich with onion rings. It was the best sandwich ever - fried pork loin topped with ham and bacon, outstanding. The onion rings were flavorful, crisp and the batter stayed on the rings after you bit into them. Top notch.
