I don't understand why my review keeps getting taken down. The food and service is mediocre. Prices are not cheap for the smallest portions I've ever seen. The side salad was out in a condiment cup. Weirdest thing ever. Nothing has taste and no seasoning whatsoever. Takes a long time to receive your order and they weren't even busy. Only 4 tables occupied.

I usually don't go to new restaurants until after they have been open for a few months. I stopped in a whim and enjoyed lunch immensely. The chicken fried chicken was nice and juicy. I liked that the chicken wasn't pounded flat. The garlic green beans were super garlicky l, just the way I like them! Lots of butter on the green beans too. I ordered the chicken strips to go for my son. He said they were pretty good and the fries were excellent.

I went there tonight for dinner. The menu is quite inviting however the food presented is not. Pork chop much smaller than the size published on the menu.. The blackened redfish was not blackened. Very little seasoning . Both entrees served with a cold roll. The wedge salad was good.! The ladies bathroom has not been completed! Two toilets no stalls separating; no safety rails! Not ADA compliment.The server was polite! However I will not return !

Okay , so this is a full review from service , food and the ambiance. The service was good, yes it's fairly new restaurant, it's going to have its quirks. Our waiter was all over the place, they definitely need more help! The food was overall about 6.5 , our table was 8 people. We had different dishes and everything was just okay. The ambiance needs a little help, the tables are very close to each other and maybe some music would help? Will I be back , yes to try different dishes but will I be in rush to get back no.

The food was good and the wait staff was friendly but my portions were pretty small. The inside of the restaurant was nice and clean. Overall my pork chop meal was good and look forward to eating something else.

I was with a group of eight on a Sunday during lunch. I had never been there before, but it was suggested by a lady we knew. She had never been there either, but the location was convenient for everyone, so we decided to give it a try. First of all, if I had known that they hadn't been open very long, I would have passed this visit up. As hard as they were all trying, there were mutiple mistakes made at our table. Basically, 7 out of the 8 orders were wrong in one way or another. Most everyone commented that their food tasted OK, but it was a complete disappointment to everyone. I ordered what I thought was a southwest chicken wrap....ended up looking and tasting like the southwest egg rolls from Chili's. There was no chicken in it and it was deep fried (although a person from the restaurant tried to convince me otherwise) I'm not stupid, I know what a deap fried roll looks like. If they didn't fry it there, they bought them premaid and heated them in the oven. It didn't taste bad....It was just way off from the menu description. My husband ordered a cheese burger all the way and it came with lettuce and tomato and that was it. One lady ordered a ceaser salad and they forgot to put dressing on it (and didn't bring it on the side either) .....the drama went on and on until we finally escaped paying full price for the meal that was at most tollerable. Needless to say, we won't be back until they have been in business a while and find that the reviews get better.

Great southern style food with nice sized portions and very fresh! The custom cocktails and perfect chewable ice will make me go back for happy hour and appetizers. The service was great and restrooms very clean. Mama's is a must!
