“Great food and good service. Nice ambiance as there are two big patios and tables are spread out so your not sitting to close to others. They do sell hookah but the smoke wasn't overwhelming like some other establishments and plus the patio is wide and open. No alcoholic drinks but some very tasty mocktails. I subtracted one star due to the valet being so unorganized.“
“It was my first time eating here yesterday and I must say the hospitality is impeccable, the man that was assisting us unfortunately I didn’t get his name, but he gave the best service and went beyond expectations to ensure that we felt comfortable and enjoyed our food. Will definitely be visiting again.“
“The food was very delicious, rice was tasty and meat was fresh and cooked perfectly. I especially liked how the food was packed, despite of large order. Service was also excellent, personnel is friendly and they helped me to take my order to the car. Will definitely come again.“
“Very tasty and clean food!!! I love itttt never had shawarma like that in the US comes with fries and a lot things definitely recommend, I also tried their burgers it was amazing totally worth it! Friendly team and respectful I felt welcomed. 100% going back again!“
“Today we had a group meeting lunch, I chose Kasra Persian Grill for its wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. Thanks to Mehrdad who helped us having an unforgettable moments and my special thanks to Maria who took care of our orders. She patiently gave us a great service. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for great and high quality food.“
“Chicken shawarma - 8.5/10 - One of the freshest shawarmas ive had, i love that it was crispy too, but could use more flavor. Fries - 9/10 - Crispy and seasoned. Paired with their garlic sauce was chefs kiss. I absolutely love shawarmas so I was excited to try this spot and was not disappointed. One of the best shawarmas ive had in Houston.“
“We went for iftaar and everything in the buffet was so fresh and so authentic! It was really good! The customer service was top notch as well! The manager and head chef served up even though it was a buffet they kept bringing up drinks and soup! I definitely recommend trying it out!“
“The place was nice, and the waiters were great!! The food was amazing. I would recommend the tasting menu but go there hungry because it is a lot of food. However, we did not know the place became like a nightclub after 10. We did leave earlier because it was too much. So, if you are not looking for that scene, I would get there earlier.“
“This is a laid back family style place that is so delicious. There are some food items that are a little different than the Mediterranean food we are all seen. It’s fairly priced and all the recipes are flavorful fresh and fun to try. Love this place. And pretty day on the patio. This is a great place to be!“
“We had an Iftar during Ramdan there. We had lamb zarbian and chicken mandi. Both meals were really good, delicious, and well-cooked. The service there also was excellent especially with the Adani tea. We will repeat the visit next time we go to Houston.“
“Gotten only takeout from this place. The restaurant seems medium as far as seating and atmosphere goes. Food is pretty fire though. Auntie is always so nice when you go in. always smiling, always happy to help. Bihari kabab is great, biriyani is great, and portions are a pretty decent size.“
“A group of 8 of us came and glad we picked this place to have lunch.Kids preferred double rice and I got the gyro beef. Staff is friendly and accommodating as we were trying to figure out if the kids wanted vegetables or toppings (parent life).Very generous with the white sauce and actually asked if we wanted more while we dined, which was very sweet of her.Remember to download the app and scan your account at checkout. We forgot and the app doesn’t allow for receipt scans.Clean store, quick service, and the order ahead feature someone used seemed pretty quick.Only suggestion would be to find a way to keep the rice and meat a bit hotter (temperature).“
“I’m Lebanese and this place is truly authentic. It is very clean and tidy. The meat is fresh and the food is made on the spot. Tried the tawook both plate and sandwich, Lebanese burger and tabboule. 10/10 all items. Definitely tastes like home.“
“This restaurant is very generous in portion size. We always have left overs even though we are big eaters! This generosity in not uncommon with Yemeni’s. The services and servers are just great.I really appreciate the guys who works there and the owners for brining such a great Arab and Yemen cultures.بارك الله فيكم وبرزقكم ❤️“
“This is more of a buffet place. Definitely spacious and it gets busy. You choose your food, pay and then sit down to eat. No frills. Food was good (had fish rice, which got cold quickly though). I'm not crazy for Middle Eastern food but food was good and came at a fair price. Good place for a quick meal.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie dishes available.“
“Adored this Arabic cafe! Exceptional food and service. They offer a delightful mix of Turkish, Greek, and Arabic cuisine. The lady serving us is both professional and kind, making the experience attentive and easy to enjoy. The outdoor ambiance is cozy, perfect for late-night gatherings with friends and family. Plus the prices are exceptionaly fair. Highly recommended.“
“Hungry so stopped by for quick lunch in the galleria. Large indoor space and ample patio dining. Chicken sandwich was tasty with juicy chicken and it was nice and warm. The fries are more big potato wedges but also fine Casual, clean bathrooms, full stomach Recommended if you are close by! Pricing is $17.58“
“I was surprised how the kebab test look like the same exact test in Baghdad. I don’t know what they using to make it like this, but really I recommend people to try the food in this place. The owner is super nice and friendly and he offer us a soup for free. I love it. Thank you.“
“It's been almost three years since our last visit. After todays exemplary meal, I'm wondering why. My wife and I split the Ela's Romanian Kabob plate. It was tasty with beef and lamb grilled patties and grilled vegetables, onion, zucchini, tomato, and mushroom. This plate came with a cold side and a hot side. We picked and enjoyed some tasty hummus and stuffed grape leaves. The young lady that took our order brought us a cup of vegetables, some spicy and all good, and a fluffy pita bread. We will be back and much sooner. We decided to eat lighter and share one plate, glad we did, it was all we could do to finish one.“
“Al Hawi Food Truck is a hidden gem in Houston, undoubtedly a top 10 spot to eat! Their lamb and beef skewers are the best, boasting very tender meat and perfect cooking. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and although there's no seating, parking is usually hassle-free with ample space behind the truck at the supermarket. The food, always freshly cooked, might take a bit if they're busy, but it's worth the wait. Open till late, they consistently serve hot, delicious food. A must-try for food enthusiasts!“
“I just visited after a couple months, and wow, a lot has changed. They’re under new ownership now and they’ve also cleaned the place up. It’s brighter inside now as well. The cooks who have been working here for 18 years are still the same and the service is even better. They’ve done all this and the prices are still the same too! I’m definitely visiting more often now! Come by and visit Sammy’s Lebanese kitchen!“
“I shop here weekly and have nothing but good things to say. Mostly I purchase pita bread (in varying sizes) along with Zaatar Manakeesh. The bread is always fresh, delicious and well priced. They also have the ability to take orders for large purchases if you need it for an event or just have a large family. For other items I would recommend the date maamoul , labneh, hot sauce, or tabouli which are all made in house. Droubis also carries various mediterranean cheeses so I make sure to grab some from their deli. The owner and staff are great people and I always enjoy the conversations I have with them.“
“Went there for a charity function to raise money for orphans. Outstanding Banquet hall. Service was amazing and timely. The food from the appetizers, main courses, and dessert was delicious. The Sayadia - Fish and rice dish was the star. Highly recommend for special event functions.“
“If you haven't had your Fila of food for the day, here's a good option. They have burgers and lots of vegetarian food, and while Yelp says that they are no longer in existence, we have found it to be quite the opposite, and they're very much worth your time we think, and still here at the food park with all the Mid Eastern treats.Very tasty products at this delicious food truck here on Westheimer in the middle of a park with a lot of great food trucks. It's somewhere west of Hillcroft but east of Fondren, on the south side of Westheimer next to Christian Bros Auto.“
“Recently tried this food truck at Moosa Colony food truck park. went with the Beef Crispy Roll Box. which consists of a breaded crispy roll cut up arabi style with beef Shawarma type of meat. box also consists of 3 sauces and fries. overall the food was great the roll was flavorful and the meat was tender and juicy. highly “
“Ahmed is the guy. Abu Omar food doesn’t need any review because it’s a brand of quality but i will talk about the immense effort that Ahmed pays in customer service. His attitude and performance is second to none.Keep the good work AhmedThanks for the splendid effort.“
“Best grilled chicken EVER! My 1st visit but I'll definitely be back to try other items. The chicken, rice, bread and humus were fabulous!Parking: Located in a small strip shopping center with other businesses. I went during mid-afternoon and had no problem finding a parking spot.“
“Today was my first time trying Dimassi's. The food was nice but I can't say the best. I loved the different salads and lots of veggie options. I ate some undercooked kebabs and chicken because it was quite chewy and weird. So watch out. I'm not sure if I can return back to this location.“
“It was my first time trying Mediterranean food in Texas. We were visiting from Chicago. And dining buffet in Dimassi’s restaurant was amazing! The food was delicious, the staff is friendly and welcoming. I really liked the way they cooked the veggie falafel and tabule salad. And the zaatar with spinach was so tasty.Definitely recommend to visit with large group of people??“
“Don't Judge a book by its cover. I had lunch from Alrahman today, it was a falafel sandwich and it was fantastic. The falafel was lighter and fluffier than other falafel, and the bread was fresh and soft (from a nearby bakery). The owner told me that it was traditional Iraqi falafel. I also got to taste some of the Egg and Meat (Makhlama) on a piece of white wheat pita, that the owner offered me. The exterior is rough looking, but the food more than compensates for the building.“
“Vibe- Not going to lie, this spot is in a random strip center that might turn you off (it was a different food spot before and Taste of Tel Aviv is not yet up) but the food is worth it and so is the customer service. From the conversation I had with the guy that took my order, they have been open for a little amount of time. I was very intrigued by the pictures of Israel on the wall. The name of the restaurant has a city in Israel in it, Tel Avia!Customer service- Amazing, the guy that took my order was so nice.Food/drinks- I got the vegan nachos and the falafel starter; they were both full of flavor.Parking- There’s about 40 parking spots in the lot.“
“This restaurant is inside the grocery store, Awami Markas. Which is very small only about three aisles or four aisles of grocery items, predominantly frozen, canned foods or boxes. The food is made to order. It’s probably ideal to have his takeout, although there was one circular table with four chairs. The food tasted delicious. However, if I got the beef burger in the future, I’d ask it without ranch salad dressing just because I’m not a fan.I’d highly recommend the food and probably easier to order it ahead of time and then go pick it up. I ended up ordering it while I was there in the grocery store and had to wait around a gentleman that was running. The cash register was friendly and helpful however he wasn’t from Abdullah‘s kitchen. He was an employee for the grocery store.“
“The owner himself was quite accommodating, kind and helpful. The food was more than delicious. Specifically the shawarma and wings which was surprising since it’s a Mediterranean a food truck. I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the “
“Hadramout is a very unique restaurant. I had never eaten Yemeni food before so it was interesting to see what their cuisine was. The location of restaurant is in the corner of a shopping area and sometimes can be difficult to find or know if it is open. They had a lot of good appetizers. Hummus is a must-try. The baba ganough (eggplant) was also very tasty. The meat and kinds of rice are good. I have tried their Hanith, Zurbian, and Mandi both in chicken and lamb. The platters are huge. Their rice is amazing. The food is almost Indian-like without the spices. The dishes are almost like a biryani (Indian Chicken or lamb with rice). It has a much milder flavor.Love the Grilled pompano fish here. It's my favorite, wish it had a little more spice to it but that is a personal preference. The quantities are very very large. We tried a couple of dishes and it was large enough to share with a group of people. We did order the chai here and it was good and even got some to go. It’s the chai with milk and sugar. We did not try any of the desserts and may need to try a couple of new dishes the next time we go there.“
“I forgot how much I liked this place. Another location many years ago was very Meh, so I had not been back. My friend said she had never tried Mediterranean style cuisine, so we came here since it's a buffet, and she could try small amounts of lot of things. I feel back in love with the place. The baba ganush was so smoky and delicious that I contemplated taking some to go. Great kofta, great lamb, wonderful sauces. My friend who does not like rice pudding loved the kheer. She said she very much enjoyed the spices, and it was not like any other rice pudding she had ever tried. I do not live close to Dimassis, but I will be back as soon as possible. I'm craving it now lol.“
“Food and service were AMAZING, we got the tandoori chicken, the lamb curry, and the lamb salad. It was great. The garlic man is heavenly. Our server was Payam (sorry for spelling) and he was the nicest server I’ve ever had. Also they give you a baller appetizer. 5 stars.“
“They have very tasty meat. You can order in Turkish, Arabic and English. Order before you go and it will be ready when you arrive. I recommend you to try the Turkish adana wrap, it is very tasty and I also recommend the doner wrap. There is no place to sit, so you can take your own chair and go. 1-2 small tables would be better.“
“Good restaurant. I went with a group of people. I wish there was more selection other than Mediterranean food. Service was a little slow when getting our food, and there weren't that many people in the restaurant. One of the women in my group had to get her food remade because the server didn't go down all the tables to make sure a dish was one our group ordered. I had a Chicken Pesto Panini since I don't care for Mediterranean food.“
