Fried fish, French Fries. AC was set at 80 and the vent for the fryer wasn’t working (it seemed). Etouffee was tasteless- no spice at all. Nothing Cajun or Creole about it. Sad. I LOVE Cajun/Creole food. This is NOT the place to go to find it.

The food was good. Service was great. Ambiance was ok. They were out of the oysters and special of day wasn't ready yet.

This is a nice size restaurant with a New Orleans twist. I got a daquri, stuffed wings, regular wings and fries. The service is top notch and friendly. I loved the stuffed wings and the fries. The rice meat mix inside was too good. My son and I loved the fries. The only thing that could have been better was maybe less breading on the wings. I ordered more wings for my son thinking the 5 wings wouldn't be enough but they were huge so we had a lot to take home.

Dined on the brunch menu, shrimp and grits was excellent as was the chicken and waffles. Service was prompt and friendly, will definitely be back!

Love love love the vibes in this place. We read the reviews before coming but still wanted to give this place a chance. Our experience was great! We got the mac and cheese and the boudin balls and they were nothing short of fresh, appealing, and flavorful. Sometimes reviews can be misleading ya'll. This place is a good eat!

Food was good, service was a bit slower than expected. It wasn't slow to the point of complaining but it was slower than I am used to based on places I frequent.

There is so much negative things to say about this place from the service, to the dirty tables, to the cold shrimp... Don't waste your time going to this place. I forced myself to eat the shrimp because it cost $18 on a bed of hard rice. If you want food like this I suggest Boil City ... It's worth the drive.

Summary, poor service and food (food looks much better than it tastes)I went on a Saturday afternoon they looked to be fully staffed however the staff was still extremely flustered. I was the only one sitting at the bar and did not get greeted by a bartender for at least 20minutes. The bartender walked past me several times and did not speak. I eventually had to just get her attention from across the bar while she was still doing something else, just to ask for a drink menu. I ordered fried crab and stuffed wings. The fried crab were small with very little meat on them. I asked for a shell cracker and was told they would see if they had one. (even though they sell shelled seafood)The one they found was extremely rusted and I did not feel comfortable using it on my food, so I could't even finish eating. The stuffed wings were not well seasoned and smelled and tasted like they had been cooked in old or burnt grease. I couldn't finish those either.A woman who came after me tried to order a sidecar as there was a sign above the special drink menu that had a sidecar on it and the bartender said it was just for decoration and they do not make that (or she just did not know how.) The bartender also had seemed to look at the menu to remember what was in the tequila sunrise I ordered from the cocktail menu. The only upside was that the food was a decent price, but still would not go back and do not recommend this place.

Food was not good tasted like chemicals. Also food for table came at different times with huge gaps and was very cold when it arrived. Kids food was over cooked and tasted like old oil!!! Also pricing is off it should be two dollar signs $20-30 per person.

The food was horrible it did not taste like Louisiana creole Cajun food if your whole theme is Louisiana you have to cook like it i spent 150 dollars with my family and didn’t finish my plate and im not a picky eater my kids tenders came 45 minutes after my food and my sons we’re mad because they tasted burnt the food looks pretty but taste really bad I bought the big daiquiri for 26 dollars and it tasted like a slushy I didn’t even get a buzz I don’t think they put much alcohol in it

I came in for Sunday brunch. I had the mimosa flight with the peach chicken and waffles. The mimosa’s were freshly made and had a strong kick to them. The peach chicken and waffles were an A+; finger licking good. Lastly, the customer service was respectful and friendly. It’s a quaint spot but a nice black business to support.

I can't express in words how delicious the food is here! We tried it for the first time a few weeks ago. Our table ordered "The Truth" sandwich, which was HUGE and juicy! We ordered the Snake Fries (crawfish etoufee on top of crispy French fries), Boudin Balls, and Fish Tacos. Our server was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I forget his name but he goes by "G". All the other personnel were friendly & welcoming. It felt like a family owned & run restaurant. We will definitely be back! I wish I would have taken pictures!
