Never been to a Golden Chick until about a week or so ago! We always drive by plenty of Golden Chicks and decided to stop right on in! The ratings of this Texan chain made me a bit nervous, but I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised by the food, and the service we received here! The spicy wings were great and I would definitely order them again. The spice was actually a good little kick. Some places say their wings are spicy, but disappoints.

Place is next to a car wash. Maybe that's what brings customers into the restaurant with foul language in front of families with small children. The employees are extremely slow and not friendly. I can see why business is low at this location. I do not recommend coming to this location. I will not come back. My money is better spent elsewhere.

I went to gran food from this place but the manager shock me how he was treating the teens workers with so much anger and saying them rude comments, I was so upset about it hearing this idk how he can be a manager treating the employees like that.... I don't come back again...

Just ordered a chicken salad sandwich combo. The bun was horribly stale and hard. If your product is old, throw it away. I typically love Golden Chick, especially for their bread/rolls/buns. Super disappointed!!!! Do better! The bun isn't a reason people should be complaining.

Service was fast, chicken strips were soft and tender and freshly fried. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. But when I got home with my order I was disappointed to see one of my gravies had barely anything in it. Is this a cost saving measure? It wasn't even half. This is the 2nd time this has happened so I'm assuming this is the new standard.People think twice about returning if there were any hassles in their experience.Update 10-19-2018. Fast service. New softserve and soda machines. Oh and they have salads again!
Ordered from the new store at 3201 FM 544. Placed the online order at 3:30 PM for a 5:15 PM delivery. At 4:54 PM I received a text that my delivery had been set up with Uber. At 5:06 PM I received a text that my delivery had been canceled and to contact the store. I called the store twice and no one answered! I had a house full of people for 4th of July and no food. The least Golden Chick could have done is called to tell me what happened and let me know if I could pick up the order. I just checked my credit card online and the $52.50 charge is still pending! Horrible customer service.

Had lunch here with a group of seniors. The workers and manager were very accommodating & patient. Even gave us a senior discount on our lunch! The food is delicious & the dining area was clean.

This location is very new and damn, it is filthy. The fountain soda area is stick, looks like they have not cleaned all day! The soft serve cones were laying all over the place. Service was mediocre at best- looks family run by looking at the all Indian staff. The fries were hakf burned, chicken cold and had been sitting awhile. Done with Golden Chick forever. Chicken Express beats this hands down!!

We had to wait 20 minutes for the chicken to be ready. The gentleman at the take out window let us know, so we ran an errand and then came back. Chicken was hot and crispy. Minus 1 star because, prior to the errand, I would have liked him to have suggested that we pull to the front or park so he could either bring it out or told us to go through the drive through in 20 min. A truck in front of us was also waiting at the take out window and it could have caused a back up of vehicles.
