Since we moved from Houston to way northern of Texas it’s been awhile since we’ve had Shipley’s. Oh they are so good. Just the mention of its name makes my mouth water. And now they have Latte’s?!!! Wow, got to try some for next time. They have a variety of flavors. (In Nacogduches, Tx)

We’re back in Nacogdoches for a couple of days after moving away a few years ago. One of the things we looked forward to was having Shipley’s donuts for breakfast. I went and picked up some this morning and got extras for our trip back home. They were so bad we just left them in our hotel room.

Best doughnut shop ever! The big filled doughnuts were bursting with filling. The chocolate dough is wonderful. They offer a variety of smoothies (taro!) as well as coffee, cocoa and soft drinks. The staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is shiny and spotless.

Stopped at this location on a Sunday morning at 1130 and they were all sold out of every kolaches they offered and they proceeded to hand us a half dozen ice cold glazed doughnuts...

I like Shipley's but this location sucks. No plain cake doughnuts, ok, whatever. Went back a few days later and got a sugar doughnut. I tasted like it was from the previous day- stale AF. I couldn't even eat it. Not going back.
Got a dozen mixed and some sausage cheese kolaches. Don't have Shipley where I'm from so I sampled a little bit of everything. Not bad. If I had to pick one it would be apple filled.

You really can’t go wrong with Shipley’s. I might not have given it five stars but the food was good and the service was exceptional. I got food at around 9:30 and it was a little old but it heated up just fine.

Go there often and always friendly and quick service. The cashiers are always attentive and accurate. Charlie is especially friendly and engages in pleasant conversation while completing the order. Definitely recommend as a go to donut shop. Chocolate iced and eclairs are my favorite. ?
