There's not a more classic diner to grab ANY meal at than Carroll's! I am not sure when Carroll's was opened, but it was quite a long time ago! I hope they don't go anywhere soon!!!
I stopped by here on my way through town. It didn’t blow my mind, but if you want good diner food, this is a great option. I ordered a chicken fried sandwich off the lunch menu and it only cost $10. It came with fries and a drink.

Food good, staff pleasant. I especially liked that fried okra is offered as a side in addition to fries and onion rings. And the fried okra was EXCELLENT. But after being in business for 57 years, couldn't you expand to have more room and some actual tables and chairs? Seating is uncomfortable and too many people in one little room.
