“I was searching for food at the Antique Fair and saw a line in front of Smoke Daddies BBQ food truck. The menu looks tempting so I decided to give it a try! I ordered grilled cheese sandwich with briskets and it was soooo good!! It was so yummy that I totally forgot to take pics until I finished half of the sandwich. Definitely one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had from food trucks. The stand was really cute too, with a pig face logo :P Will go again in a few days when I return for the show.“
“My family was starving and couldn't wait any longer so we decided to stop in Navasota for lunch. We saw this taqueria open (on Sunday) and decided to give it a shot. It took us off guard because it's a Western Store and Taqueria in one. We popped in and they had plenty of seating, it smelled delicious, so we decided to go ahead. We ordered several street taco plates and a beef fajita quesadilla plate with rice & beans. Now, I'm kicking myself for not getting pictures of the food, but as I said, we were starving! It was absolutely and utterly delicious. Our favorite was the beef fajita quesadilla, which isn't your average quesadilla. It was packed with sautéed onions, peppers, steak, and yummy hot cheese. The flavor was out of this world. They also have a red salsa (habanero) and a green salsa (salsa verde) that is served alongside your food. They were both flavorful and delicious, too! The staff was extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. They check on us numerous times throughout our meal. I forgot to add, you order at the front before you sit at your table - it's a quick, easy, and pleasant experience. My family will be back for sure, and we'll also be recommending the Taqueria to our family and friends who often pass through town. My recommendation: give this place a shot! You will NOT be disappointed. We are stuffed and happy. Thank you for the hospitality and great food! We sure appreciate it in times like these where it's hard to find...“
“First time here from out of town and glad we found it on the way back to Dallas. Waitresses were very friendly and prompt. Food were large portions and very good. I had the pechuga a la parrilla. Very good chicken and tender. Chips and salsa were really good as well. Wife had the el rey and daughter had the kids pizza. The kids pizza was extremely delicious from her comments and I tasted the crust and agree it was really good.“
“Stopped for a late lunch. Herrera was pleasant and the staff was attentive and very nice. Chips and salsa were good and the salsa had a good kick to it. We ordered the jalapeños poppers as an appetizer and a chicken fajita torta and the beef fajitas. The poppers had good flavor bit used a different batter than most .. a little bit different and not my preference. Their was plenty of food to eat but both the chicken fajitas and the beef fajitas could have used more flavor.“
