It might just be me.I like how they include the cinnamon sugar fried tortillas with the chips and salsa.The carne guisada is pretty good. I'd asked about what the "gravy" was made of/from, and the waitress was unsure. I have intolerances to quite a few food items, and I'd prefer more description. The rice and beans are standard, but great.This restaurant has been here as long as I remember with the double-front car. My mom really loves it!
Usually good food, quick, and good price. Today had the lunch chicken quesadilla. Opened it up and looked really dark. Asked the waitress if it was chicken and she said yes. Tasted it and it was definitely beef. The waitress should have taken it back to kitchen to double check. Really bad experience today.

I eat here once or twice every week. It’s always consistently good. Their super deluxe nachos are my favorite. The caldo is also delicious. Really can’t go wrong with anything. Just good Tex-mex in a local historical restaurant. Check the hours - it’s family run so they aren’t open late hours on Saturday and are closed on Sundays.Parking: Parking lot next to restaurant, plenty of spaces
