This was my first visit to Adobe Cafe. I ordered the Tex-Mex #9 and sweet iced tea. The chicken enchilada was fresh, cheesy, and delicious. The crispy taco was fresh, filling, and delicious. The chalupa was fresh, tasty, and delicious. The Mexican rice was moist and tasty. The re-fried beans were creamy and delicious. The sweet tea was just about perfect. The service was fast and friendly. The prices are comparable to other similar restaurants. They have plenty of indoor seating and off-street parking.

The first basket of chips was free. After that you have to pay for them. Not many choices on the menu and we didn't stay and eat.

Outstanding shrimp tacos, refried beans, rice. Everything. We were hesitant being from out of town, Austin that is, we know good Mexican food because the place had sort of a weird atmosphere not well kept but damn the food was amazing. I've had plenty of good shrimp, but these shrimp or nothing short of spectacular.

I love their beef chimichanga because it is always top notch. I have never had any food at this location it hasn’t been anything but excellent

We were leaving Schlitterbaun and I asked fellow riders die good restaurant suggestion. The shuttle driver said without hesitation " Cafe Adobe" - with CONFIDENCE! So we tried it. OMG -- everything was FANTASTIC! We had Chicken flautas, sizzling fajitas, and mole chicken enchiladas - as recommended by Savanna (who was just as awesome). The BEANS were amazing too. Will DEFYBW BACK!

Fred, Thank you! But, no, they didn't because of how rushed they felt & already drove all the way to your restaurant, and were obviously hungry, so they just had to suck it up. We understand what concept you're trying to implement in your establishment and the respect for other patrons' times. Still, maybe you could put up a nice sign stating something like, "We appreciate having you and would appreciate it if you keep our business and patrons' time in mind. Thank you!" That might sound and be better--just a suggestion, especially for elderly and senior people. Thanks for your comment tho.

Adobe cafe downtown disappoint. Excellent service and great food and drinks every time! It’s become a Saturday routine for us.

Have had this place book marked for quite sometime and with a trip to the outlet store it was a perfect time...place was jumping, greete Quickly and seated....Chips, salsa arrived promptly...we also ordered a large Queso...everything was tasty, salsa tasted fresh and when added to the Queso it hit the spot..service was great...Larry took great care of us...I did notice other patrons calling him by his first name, so I'm assuming Larry is a regular as well...really nice to see!!...I went with the enchilada verdes..sauce was spot on, corn on top was a first and added texture..very good...chicken was tender..great bite of food..rice fluffy and fresh..Charro's were perfectly cooked and so flavorful!...Wife picked the Chipotle Beef Tips...Sauce was unlike any other she had tried, but sadly the meat was extremely tuff...flavorful...but seriously was almost inedible in its current state...she spent more time cutting the meat into tiny pieces then eating...sad to...is was SO good flavor wise...simply put...this would Not keep us from coming back...she usually stick to her guns and get enchiladas, but wanted to try something different...I'm sure there are plenty of other delicious menu items she would love...we will keep it on the back burner, as it's a bit of a drive from Manor..Over all still a decent visit.

Beautiful location wonderful staff very friendly and then you get the food some of the best beef nachos I've had in a long time small order was more than enough for two to share as an appetizer ordered for my entrée garlic shrimp with sautéed vegetables on rice was wonderful robust with garlic How desert one of the best tres leches around creamy with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg wonderful fresh whip cream and strawberries cannot wait to come back

Adobe Cafe is the best Tex Mex food we have found in the area! We live in Spring Branch and drive in at least once a week! The service is always great….. the skinny margarita is delicious and plentiful and such a great deal for $10 and the food is OUTSTANDING! The portions are very generous ! It took us 9 months to find this place but thanks to a recommendation from a friend we are hooked! We took some friends there a few weeks ago and they were blown away too! Oh and they have a GREAT rewards program!!! ❤️

My family meets once a week at Adobe for family dinner night and we have never been disappointed. The meals are always fantastic and the service is always great! The fried avocado appetizer is a favorite. The salsa should be the standard for every mexican restaurant, it is by far the best restaurant salsa in town and I'd go so far as to say that its the best restaurant salsa I've ever had. The Cobb Salad is superb, for someone who frequently has dietary restrictions it is a high protein super flavorful dish and they aren't shy with the toppings! The enchiladas and chalupas are another family favorite. The kids menu is great and they even offer a single serving dessert for the little ones. The staff is always kind and happy, wait time for meals is short and if you're waiting for a table there is plenty of space inside to sit as well as an area outside. They have a drive thru pick up window and tons of parking behind the restaurant. We honestly can't get enough of the place. Do yourself a favor and check this place out! You will not regret it!
