Unfortunately, the taco salad didn't meet my expectations. The flavors were bland, and the ingredients seemed stale. The meat was more of a patty, which I had to break up myself, instead of ground meat. I was hoping for a vibrant, flavorful experience, but sadly, it fell short. My husband was extremely disappointed with the beef burrito. It was mostly filler with just a tiny amount of beef. For the price we paid, we expected a hearty portion of steak, but it felt like he was mostly eating tortilla, cheap cheese, and beans. Definitely not worth it. To top it off, the margaritas were sub par and the sprite needed changing. Im sorry to say Adobe Verde has gone downhill.

Refried beans were terrible, the enchiladas were cold. The kids chicken fingers looked great

Slow service. Waiter inattentive. Lost our ticket. Waited over an hour before coming to tell us they lost our ticket. Did discount our meal. Frog dip delicious. Chips very good.

We only got an appetizer, but it was large and tasty. Chips were slightly over cooked.Parking: Entrance to lot wasn't marked.

The food wasn't great. My husband had enchiladas verde, me and my daughter had cheese enchiladas, and my son had chicken tenders. I also ordered a Mexican Martini, which wasn't made correctly. My son was the only one happy with his food. He had to share it with my daughter because she refused to eat. Me and my husband only ate the enchiladas. The sides were bland and oversalted. We never complained or raised issues. Just ate what we could, paid, and tipped. The server was very nice and attentive. It was the first time trying Adobe Verde but also the last.

Kid-friendliness: Great environment for kids to have fun playing and the adults enjoying themselves watching and having good conversation. No rush to leave just come eat drink and relax for the whole family.

Have eaten here for many years and it was fantastic, then it failed. Was hoping for better after the reopening. Tried again this weekend ( Feb 24, 2024 ) and the food needs a lot of work. The salsa tasted like tomato paste, Pace picante would be a big upgrade. The quesadillas were black from a dirty grill. Please do better, you have a great location.

Excellent polite staff - great food. Our first time in the area and noticed how well everyone worked together to provide an excellent dining experience.

Inpatient and rude. Clear and apparent everyone there hates their job. Actually, not fair. They hate their “manager.” After 20 minutes of waiting at a clearly understaffed establishment with 30 open tables (at a Mexican restaurant on national margarita day) we decided to leave to have the “manager” tell us we were ungrateful. Then yell at me on the way out she didn’t want our business. Bummer. We live close and have dined in many times. Welp. Good luck. We will spend our money somewhere else.

Not good. The food was really not good, and unreasonably priced. Low quality and terrible taste. The pictures look better than what you see in person, and it looks better than it tastes. The mixed drinks were awful, so not worth popping in for those. Went on a weeknight at dinner time and there was nobody—absolutely nobody—there. Only knew they were open because of the the sign. Despite that, service was painfully slow (although friendly) and there was trash and cigarette butts all over the place. Out of 5 people in our group, nobody ate the nachos after tasting them. And those were $18 nachos. Really, it’s not good. Expected it to be “ok” based on previous reviews, but can’t give it that. Recommend finding somewhere else to eat.

This is our second time back since they reopened and unfortunately, it was not a great experience. The weather was a little overcast, so it was VERY slow for a Friday evening. Maybe five tables total. We stood at the host stand for a couple minutes before finally poking our heads inside because no one ever came out. Three servers were standing there chatting. When we asked to sit outside so we could watch our kids play, they did bus the one empty table, but then we sat for ten minutes with no menus and no one taking our order. When he did come around- it took another five minutes for him to bring menus and then another ten before he came back to get our order and drink order. The server at the table next to us argued with the couple there that nachos were not on special for happy hour. Which is in contradiction to the ad that is all over Facebook. Our server forgot our kids drinks and our frog dip. When ten more minutes went by with nothing, my husband went inside to ask, and again he was standing there chatting. When he did bring their drinks (kids cups with lids), no straws. Food was just okay… I got the Texan plate. My carne guisada and refried beans had a few crusty bits and weren’t warm. My husband’s quesadillas were only filled halfway with meat and cheese- so lots of bites were just tortilla. Super sad because we are local. I grew up coming to Adobe Verde. Even under new management, it’s not up to the old standard. We were excited about another spot with a playground for the kiddos, but we will take our business to Herbert’s instead.
