Very good german food and beer (there are no hamburgers). we had the Schnitzel with two different sauces (mushroom and sour cream) and really liked it! A little hard to find but once you get to the parking lot, it's the white building at the front

Always a good German meal here. Tonight it was rouladen with spatzle and Ted cabbage. Really delicious! It has become a bit pricey lately, but what hasn't? The portions are really big.Parking: Behind the restaurant.

Wonderful restaurant. It’s on the small side so make sure to call ahead for parties over 4. For the price, the portions perfect. The desserts sounded good, but we had no room left for them. Would definitely eat here again.

Okay, hear me out. It’s a far drive for some. It’s a little up there on the price side. But if you’ll just listen to me and our server “Herr Nōrmann” (Norm), you’ll leave here very full and very satisfied. The food is as authentic as I remember from living in Germany. The service? Perfect. The ambience is a cross between a castle and a hunting lodge. The drink choices are plentiful and will not bore you. Desserts. Yeah….Black Forest cake and apple strudel pair very well with the Weihenstephaner beer, believe it or not. Worth the drive. Worth the money. Worth the time it took to read this long a$$ review. ASK FOR NORM!! Guten Appetit, Y’all!

Great little German restaurant in New Braunfels area... About 30-40min from San Antonio. Limited selection of German items, but what they have looks good, and taste pretty authentic. Good selection of German European beers, which was nice. Wife was impressed as well... So we will be back.Dietary restrictions: Overheard the waiter tell the table next to us that most items are gluten free if that matters to you.

I met my family here for Easter on accident, and it turned out to be amazing. I met the owner in the parking lot, and he was so kind to make room for me and my family without reservations.

Nothing beat the atmosphere of the acordian player who sung German music from room to room. The food was delicate, flavorful and filling. Enjoy the cold beer and bring the ones you love for a great time.

My first time here. The menu had really nice choices. I had the sausage and potato salad. It was very tasty and delicious. My first time tasting sauerkraut, to my surprise it was not overwhelming sour. It paired very well with the sausage. My wife had the Jager schnitzel (breaded pork with mushroom gravy) it was also very tasty and delicious. If you find yourself in New Braunfels I highly recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner.

A bit expensive, but the Jager Schnitzel was amazing. Salad and dumplings were also good.
