My family and I decided to go here randomly because we wanted to sit down and eat somewhere we haven’t before. Host was a super nice man, I could tell he was very busy but was still friendly with us. Our server was also really sweet and accommodated us well. The food was absolutely fantastic. My husband says it’s the best chef salad that he’s ever had, and my food was very delicious too. I got the french toast breakfast and the serving sizes were perfect. The owners came over and chatted with us for a little bit and was playing around with our toddler who loved all the attention. Everyone was all around super nice, so lovely and made us all feel really comfortable! Already recommending this place to family and friends, will 100% come eat here again!

Been trying to get here for sometime but it never worked out until today. Had a great ride from San Antonio and then the amazing food was definitely worth the ride and the wait.

Always mean to eat here when in town, but for some reason or another, I never end up doing so until today. There are always so many cars there at I assumed it was a really good place to eat but was very disappointed. Bacon was super greasy and one of the worst, if not the worst, quiches I've ever eaten. So disappointed. Will not return.

I have to say....EVERYTHING You Order at Buttermilk Cafe is TO DIE FOR, but I have a FEW Suggestions of "You MUST TRY FOODS!! " #1 IS their Fried Zuccinni!! OMG... it Doesn't get ANY BETTER than That!! With Ranch Dressing OR White Gravy!!! HEAVEN!! 2nd- Their Hamburger Steak Topped with "Killer" HOMEMADE Brown Gravy and Smothered with Mushrooms!! Yuuumm! (Can come with Grilled Onions IF YOU like.) #3 HOMEMADE BISCUITS W/Jelly!! Feels like Your Grandma made them!! Have to Eat at least 2...But, They're BIG!! EVERYTHING IS HOMEMADE!! NO FAKE FOOD THERE!! My ONLY Complaint is They DON'T provide STRAWS... SERIOUSLY!! I CAN'T Drink their STRONG SODAS Without a STRAW! I Protect my Teeth from Sugar at all costs!! And, Please Provide CRACKERS for Your AMAZING SALADS!! Homemade Ranch!! Lord help me! Calories Go OUT the Window on days when I get to Drive up to my Table in my Electric Scooter on a Special Day where my husband and I get to TREAT ourselves to BUTTERMILK CAFE'S LUSCIOUS "HOMEMADE" MEALS!!! .....10 STARS!!!

The presentation of the location and the service was fine. The food was cooked thoroughly, but where was the flavor?I got a chicken fried steak with biscuits, eggs and potatoes. It was all rather bland and just didn't leave feeling satisfied. Oh well.

Buttermilk is always great. This day was no different. The food was great, as was the service. My only complaint is that they don't have hashbrowns. Oops, another complaint was that they only serve their fantastic coffee cake on weekends.

Food was mediocre at best for the price. Portions were decent. Wait time for food was not worth the quality. Service was very good and it made up for the subpar food quality. In specific the potatoes were extremely greasy and not at all crispy. Overall its been hyped up to something that its not.
