I had time to take my wife to eat and everything was almost perfect, not counting the hair that occasionally came out during the meal, until the owners' daughter served us, she was charging me for an extra dish and she reminded me to the Texan restaurant that was on San Antonio Street, until it was reported that they were committing theft by overcharging for the food and they closed it, thank God.If that restaurant is your source of workDon't put people in, who are going to make you close it for your mistakes, maybe you don't care much about losing a client, but maybe you care about losing your source of work and thank God that someone else already went to make a report on your business, remember here we come to be better "MAY GOD BLESS YOU"

Finally tried this place out. I had the juevos rancheros breakfast and it was delicious!! It tasted like my own mama cooked it. My hubby had the chicken fajita enchiladas and he said they were great! Our server was very attentive. The overall location has good seating, but parking seems limited. Definitely going back.

Decided to try their pozole and I don’t recommend! They gave me lettuce instead of cabbage and the meat tasted horrible! Their salsa is also very watery.

The sink in the women’s bathroom did not work. Not sure how employees wash hands. The food was just ok. Nothing special. Staff was friendly. Really wanted to like this place.

El Jardin hasn't been one of my to go restuarant because it's been a very long time since I've eaten there. Lately we have been going by the drive thru after church service. The wait for our food is a bit long but it is worth the good food they serve. Our food was nice and hot. The menudo has been one of the best I've been able to find in New Braunfels. The barbacoba was great. Corn and flour tortillas were also good. My son enjoyed the loaded bean, egg and cheese tacos.Thank you.
Stopped by as we traveled through on 9/4 The lady at the cash register seemed nice. She seated us. They took our drink order (literally 20 min wait to get drinks) then took our food order. The brought out 2 plates and the rest of our party waited while 2 people ate. Then they brought out 2 more. We are still waiting on 1 more plate at this point. Also I ordered Chorizo & eggs which had obviously sat there because when I received it they were cold. Finally the waitress came back and said she had given another diner the wrong dish and would need to re order the plate we were waiting on. We decided to just leave. Also we are pretty sure they still charged us for the plate we did not receive. Service was trash & prices were ridiculous!

I typically order from work, Dollar Tree down the road by Harbor Freight and Big Lots, because am unable to leave at times.Love the carne guisada, barbacoa and asada tacos.When I do dine, usually with my daughter, it's always been great and friendly service. ?Thanks.Kid-friendliness: Daughter was very comfortable.
