What a fun spot! They only sell beer wine and seltzers but that was fine with us. The live band was great and Nate was the best! He was such a nice bartender and helped us decide our next bar for the night when they closed down. They had big coolers of free ice water and the bathrooms were clean. We had a really fun time, there's a huge outdoor area too I believe, I would go back!

This is a beer garden! Great vibes but limited selection of beers. In the historic Gruber district- fun neighborhood sights! Love the airstream food truck with apps and wurst. Stage and music at times, but we were there on a Spring weekday and just enjoyed the suds and shade.

We went to Gruene Grove because we read that they had a good happy hour. Unfortunately, we found out they DO NOT have happy hour, and the drinks were expensive and not that great. The food truck had good brats/sausages. I had the Italian with peppers & onions and enjoyed it. The pretzel bun was very good. We also shared chili cheese fries - which were also good. It was nice to sit outside on a beautiful afternoon, but the tables were small & shaky and the chairs uncomfortable.

We really enjoyed this outdoor venue , shade provided by pecan trees,Wine barrels to set ur drinks on for standing areas,A few tables & chairs- seems you can bring ur own chairs, few picnic tables, fans, fire pits,outdoor stage, gr8 Live music, dancing area in front of the stage, 2 outdoor bars- no wait staff-fast service, great cocktails,beer & wine, Diverse friendly crowd-of all ages,dog friendly , No wheelchair access, Didn't get to go to Goodwin's Speakeasy-hidden below by the side of the Gruene Grove bar, didn't try Rhea's ice cream or The Wurst in Gruene food truck,but I'll check it out next time! Good vibes! Outdoor fun- yay!Parking: There are plenty of places to park, however events draw lots of people so it can be difficult to find parkingWheelchair accessibility: It's difficult to get around in a wheelchair

One of our favorite places to go . Outdoors, great music. . The San Antonio Blues society holds its jam here. Dog friendly ( a big plus) water bowls available for your pup. Reasonable drinks . Great food truck on site. Friendly people. Gotta try it when you're visiting Gruene

When it is cooler out, they have fires going so it’s not a problem. They don’t serve food but there is a food truck that has items available. I haven't tried that yet so can’t review the food. The bar is well stocked, but they do not have table service so you do need to go to the bar for drinks. A great spot in Gruene TX.
