I've been shopping here for almost two years, and I'm pretty happy with it. The staff that I interact with are usually pretty friendly, and any time I've had an issue, I can usually get it sorted out pretty quickly. I like to use the H-E-B app. It's good because you can select the store that you're shopping at, and then when you can't find an item you can use the app to tell you what aisle it's on. And also they have digital coupons and you can use the app for that instead of paper coupons, which they also have in the store for people without smart phones, I guess. Are there people who don't have smart phones? Anyway, definitely shop here if you like lower prices and saving money. And a generally friendly staff.

Twice now we've shopped at the H-E-B on 46 in New Braunfels. Both times we've had to bag the groceries without a hint of help from people that work there. Spending hard earned cash in this economy at a store that acts as they don't really care about their customers is disappointing

Worse managers ever!! Leadership is horrible, there are so unprofessional and don't take care of there employees! Managers treat employees so unfair and are always taking time off. Store leadership does nothing at all! This is the WORSE store ever!!!!

Again we are at another HEB in New Braunfels near I-35 and the pet situation comes up. Love pets but when not service animals and the dog is barking at people and asking a employee female she said they are now allowed. I still can't bring mine in my hometown Dripping Springs area. I believe it should be across the board for No pets unless service animal around food. One of the manager on-site is Eddy 10:30 am 2 sept. 2022

Thank you to Todd and Stoney for saving our Son's birthday party! We arrivee late and just before closing, only to find out that the bakery had already closed. The cake we wanted to buy was there, but the lights were off and the cleaning crew were doing their thing.... and we were leaving for out of town for the birthday party early in the morning. I thought I would be denied my the Manager, Todd, but he solved the problem and asked Stoney to assist and package-up the cake....and off we went! Thank you very much, Todd and Stoney! You guys saved the (birth) day!

Just love visiting our daughter in Texas and shopping at HEB. We always find what we need or want!
We we're in the self checkout line. We we're coming in to look to see if there was any registers open, when she yelled at us to get back behind the line. She didn't have to yell and embarrass us. There's nicer ways to say, I'm sorry but can you step back behind the line. We haven't been back since.

Was getting a RX on the side in the drive thru. Two guys were taking a break and one of them threw a cigarette on the ground. I thought it was disgusting and also littering. Thought management should know this.

This is more a review of HEB and not this one particular store but this is the one I visited. I lived in Texas for decades before finally leaving a year ago. I have family that's worked for the company since the 1950s. They've always been an integral part of Texas life. They are, by far, one of the most well respected companies in the state. Rather than using that cache of well-deserved clout to do what is right and protect their customers from their own stupidly politicized COVID views they instead took the easy way out. No company-wide policy enforcing mask wearing for customers. No hiring of off-duty cops or security to toss the people who won't comply. Nope. Not even making it mandatory for their own employees who just love to accost you to see if you need help. Can't do any of that. Must follow the politics and not the science. Well, I guess, enjoy your omicron. I thought I'd always have at least one good thing to say about my birth state but not any more. You're dead to me, HEB.

The store is great but we tried the HEB brand of ready to heat corn tortillas. Fixed the way they said in the directions. Was making enchiladas and got the tortillas cooked correctly but after I put them in the oven to melt the cheese the tortillas turned mushy. And they taste like old masa. Will NEVER buy this product again. We shop at this H-E-B several times a week and this is the first product that's not worth wasting money on. And the ones I didn't make into enchiladas turned hard as a rock within minutes of being heated. UGH!
