Had seen this place off the Highway for years, finally stopped in and I’m sorry we didn’t earlier! Great atmosphere with a great mix of dinner music. We got outstanding service from Audrey. Just right amount of attention but not too much to interrupt eating & conversation. The entire staff was friendly and prompt. Explained the menu just right. Chips and salsa were outstanding. Flaky chips salted just right and a hot (temperature) chipotle smokey salsa with just right amount of spice. Had the waygu beef & chicken fajitas. The beef was marinated so well, tender and perfectly cooked. Flour & white corn tortillas- both pillowy soft. It came with Ancho butter. This stuff is amazing. Very clean place including the rest rooms. Overall a great place. Prices are a little higher than the typical, but the food is better, so I don’t mind that. Been to so many Mexican restaurants in San Antonio over the last decade, this one is one of the top level ones. We’ll be back! They are doing things right.

My wife has Celiac's disease. The restaurant has a dedicated gluten free menu. However, she ordered from it and got gluten poisoning. We're at 11 days later and she's just starting to feel better. Gluten free beware. On top of this: the food was well prepared but very bland.Dietary restrictions: Theoretically gluten free, but not.

Sat outside and they had a guy playing guitar (poorly) singing country/folk. Was with two friends and our young toddlers, but we had to shout at eachother across the table like we were at a club.

Our server Camila was amazing. Some of the best service I’ve had in a long time. She is perfect.Food - decent at best. A little overpriced, but what isn’t in New Braunfels?Overall vibes are more like a low end Texmex restaurant than a high end Mexican Restaurant.

I am torn on this review. The food is excellent. Really good food. excellent prep, flavor, and presentation. Workers hanging at bar seats prevented me from sitting at the bar. Sat in "bar area". Service in the bar area (not the bar) is really poor. 16 min to get a drink order in. 32 min to get food order in. Will try again. Pricey food, excellent food poor service.

My first time eating here, and it did not disappoint. I had a margarita and steak/chicken fajitas. The meat was so tender and juicy. Everything was fantastic. I sat at the bar, and the bartender went through his favorite menu items with me. Very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Our server was very pessimistic and sarcastic like we were being judge for potentially wanting just water "Do you want to order a drink or is it just water?" They also got my order wrong when I have witnesses at our table clearly hearing me say no cheese when I asked for no cheese. When my reorder came in some of the soup spilled over the brim.

Wasn't that impressed with the food. High cost small portions. Our drinks (soda) were brought out after we received our appetizers. I tried the relleno and it was very bland. 3/4 of us didn't even finish our food due to how unimpressed we were. Only thing we all enjoyed was the chips & salsa.

With quality ingredients, exceptional combinations and flavors the food is simply the best Mexican cuisine in Central Texas. Staff and service was outstanding. Descriptions of food by staff had us on the edge of our seats as each description was better than the last. Multitudes of choices ensure our repeat business. The margaritas were marvelous, fresh squeezed lime juice and the perfect combinations and pairing were a welcome change from the overly sweet canned or bottled margarita mixes used throughout Texas. This is a from scratch kitchen and bar. Well worth visiting as it will become your favorite Mexican restaurant, too. Highly recommend the waygu beef fajitas, the gorgeous and light snapper, all prepared to perfection.

This has been our go-to spot for a couple of years now and it never disappoints. We go about twice a month and the service, food, drinks are always top notch. Prices are a little higher, but the quality matches what they charge, totally worth it. Love this spot! Also shoutout to Uly, kimberly and Nichole for being the best!!
