Thank you to the kind bartender who made me and my future husband drinks and allowed us to take a few engagement photos here. Best service hands down! And the drinks were yummy! Also this place has amazing vibes.

Place has a good vibe and usually decent music.Fantastic selection of beer. Speedy staff even when busy.

The burgers were dry and overdone, additional items were added to the order without asking, music so loud impossible to hear person next to you, waitress completely screwed up the final bills of both parties at the table, took a week for credit to occur. What a shame to experience in such a historical saloon. BTW who asks for a credit card before you have finished a meal? The whole payment snafu could have been avoided with proper protocol.

We had family from out of state , so I thought this would be a great place to take them , for the history , and the food. Well , the history was the same, the food, thankfully, was still very good. What was awful and embarrassing was the service. There were only a few people at the bar, and 1 other table was leaving . A new couple did come in after we did , and they got their food before we did. There were 4 adults and 1 child. My husband got his chili long before anyone else. I ordered chili nachos and got chili french fries ( sent back) as long as it took , I thought nacho chips were made there , NOT. I have had a better HEB brand out of the bag. Then, dishes and spoon were dirty. I was so upset. The bartender did come tell us it was the server's first day alone , sorry , but she should have been helped, and why did food take so long? We all had chili, and I am sure it is not made to order. It will be a while before I take anyone there again or go myself. So unless you have a lot of time to spend , there are many other choices in New Braunfels.

Raven was our bartender & she was amazing. They were really busy, but she remembered our drinks while being attentive. We will definitely go back thanks to her and her positive attitude.

Had a popular band with one bartender until they were under water. Bar area not easily accessible. Nice place inside!

I was at the saloon on Jan 27th after walking thru the cold air farmer’s market. Was excited to visit Phoenix as we always hit it up when visiting in town and hadn’t been since last summer. My one question is, what happened to the chili? The meat was rubbery fat. There was literally 2 clumps of meat in the bowl which was not eaten. I crushed up the corn bread into the chili but that didn’t help ease the taste of the soup. I will go back again one more time & try something else. A bit disappointed though.

Stopped for margaritas and an appetizer before the Jimmy Buffett tribute band event. Friends ordered corn bread and kitchen couldn't get it to us in a timely fashion. Had to get it to go. Otherwise, wait person was attentive and pleasant. I'll give them another try.

Awesome ? venue! Especially when 3 Man Front, Cadillac Drive, i35 Band n Knotty Grove hit the stage with thier rocking jams! I would truly appreciate if bartenders would b more alert n aware when customers r standing right in front of them, it would b nice to get some prompt service. Tends to b annoying when u r being ignored. Otherwise, Phoenix Saloon Rocks!!! What's the deal with new closing time 11 to 11:30??? pm.That's definitely not cool! ? music stops my buzz ?? stops. I’d like add that Christine is a great addition to the Phoenix Saloon. New staff is friendly n helpful. Much better service then in the past. Thx! Christine! ?❤️
