I haven't eatten here in over 2 years. I decided to try it again. The food took quite awhile but they said they were short handed. The food was good. They also have a delivery robot that delivers the food. That was fun watching. I will need to take my grandkids, they will enjoy seeing that.

The food is good. The service is excellent. I did not expect a robot to bring our food. It was cool. I had the sweet and sour chicken and my wife had the beef broccoli. Overall it was a good experience and we will definitely go back to try more of their food.

We had a good experience at Taipei Express. I’m not a connoisseur of Chinese food like other reviewers though. We ordered the Monday special, triple delight and sweet and sour chicken. The food was cooked fresh and came out hot. The portion was a great size. I didn’t leave feeling stuffed nor did I leave hungry. The restaurant was very clean. The gentleman taking our order was very pleasant and provided good customer service. We will definitely be back to try something new.

I live in Houston where I know all the good chinese food so I wanted to order from somewhere good in new Braunfels. Let’s just say the food did not disappoint. It was SO GOOD! Only thing I wouldn’t order again was the egg drop soup. It was too thick with not enough egg but the flavor was there. The noodles? So good. Portions? Huge and plenty. Flavor? Perfect.

This place is just alright. We ordered for an earlier dinner on a Tuesday night. I much prefer J Plus, but they are closed on Tuesdays. Portions are on the smaller side from what I have come to expect from Chinese food, but the price seems to reflect that. The fried rice tastes half like it was steamed, half like it was fried? Hard to describe but the chicken fried rice was an in between, sticky texture. I prefer fried rice to be a bit more on the fried, crispy side. My rice also had random chunks of what I think may have been raw onion? The pieces were quite bitter and had to be picked out. The sweet and sour chicken was also a bit soggy, rather than crispy. My fiancé said his sesame beef was bland, and nothing to write home about.Taipei is ok for the price and the service was fast, but I don’t think we will go for it again when there are other options in town.

First, I went to get my order they didn’t have change available so I had to go somewhere else to get change. Then my wife ordered the chow mein and it was literally Angel hair pasta.

It's unusual to find 3 plus star Chinese restaurant so my wife and I gave it a try. What a huge disappointment for the items we ordered. Had the Wednesday dinner special combo and major disappointment it was. Suppose to be Fried battered chicken but it was mushy and wet and was way too sweet, all the veggies were refrigerated cold. Don't bother getting pasty fried rice void of other ingredients. It's so hard to find real fried rice with carrots, peas, scallions, garlic, eggs. I was concerned about getting sick later from the shrimp. So I took everything home and cooked it properly. The cool side was the auto guided serving tray, you might call it robotic but real robots may be insulted,. In conclusion, food was improperly seasoned and not properly fried made by some clueless person, place appeared to be clean. The cashier was pleasant and attentive. I'm undecided about going back.

This place taste horrible styrofoam cup Italian pasta noodles with soy sauce ?‍♂️ the chicken taste like rubber any machine that serves us our food with two girls behind the counter. That wouldn’t smile if their life depended on it. If I could, I give this zero stars my wife’s vegetables she said they taste like
