I was very disappointed with the pricing at this place, which just doesnt make sense! We had ordered two pizzas. One extra Large and One Jumbo. We had a family event and needed the food soon. When we went to pick it up, I was astonished at the bill! Turns out the Jumbo was twice the price as the extra large, even though it only had two more slices!!! I asked them why would anyone pay twice the price of an extra large, only to get two more slices? I guess there was no way to really explain illogical pricing like this, so the lady just said she didn't have anything to do with pricing, and did I want it or not? So I just explained that I was not going to pay around $20 for one of the pizzas, just to get two more slices, when I could have ordered TWO extra large pizzas for the same price as that one!!!!! So we just left, and then had to go and find another pizza place where the pricing made sense, of course this made us late getting food back to our guests. GET THEM TO MAKE IT VERY CLEAR HOW MUCH IT WILL COST YOU!

Overall, a very OK pizza. The atmosphere was a little strange though.. when you walk in you're greeted by large signs demanding you wear a mask or be asked to leave. Nobody is really carrying masks around anymore so I was a little nervous going inside. Additionally, there were more signs saying "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason". These signs really made it an uncomfortable environment to just pick up a pizza. The customer service was fine, but the pizza wasn't anything to write home about. The dough was really sweet which was a little strange but it wasn't bad.

I ordered delivery from DoorDash. The item arrived hot. I ordered a pizza. The item that arrived should absolutely not be characterized as pizza! It was the absolute worst version of “pizza” that I have ever eaten! The dough was thick, chewy, and sweet! The sauce was terrible, it was also sweet! The cheese was disgusting, there was absolutely no savory flavor, just sugar sweet! I threw the entire pizza in the trash after taking two bites of one slice, the second bite was because I truly didn’t want to believe that this “pizza “ was actually as terrible as it was! The second bite was just as awful as the first! What a waste!

We've tried to order there twice and the first time they would be closing soon but we could still go pick it up and when we got there and they wouldn't give us our order. Then the second time we went and they told us they were closed and it wasn't even time that was posted for them to close.

Great pizza. We are from out of town but when we're back in New Braunfels we ALWAYS get pizza to go from Villanova's! Thank you for always having great tasting pizza and for being so friendly! We called and ordered when we were in San Marcos and I told Mr. Villanova that we'll be a bit late BUT we'll be there. He said ok. We loved it.

Seen a post on New Braunfels Facebook group. Decided to give it a try. I can say the place stayed busy multiple orders from folks picking up. I expect it's a hidden gem as it's a hole in the wall. But I will hold off on the food review until I actually try the food. Either way if you are in the area you should give it a try. The restaurant is to go only.
