Worst smoothie place, I ordered a smoothie bowl and it was half empty and the employee just threw all the toppings in the cup not even right amount half empty. When I asked her if I could get the correct amount she said no and proceeded to blame manager but she is the only one there. Waist of $12 for an half empty bowl, horrible customer service and problem solving. Should not let teenagers run the business because this is what happens.

Not the most polite cashiers, they walk away mid conversation. I understand people have bad days, but an effort must be made to be polite to customers. Idk if this self own, but that's when I typically see this whatever attitude.

Girl working at 4:53pm on 8/4/23 doesn't know what having basic manners is! I asked if I could get 2 small cups on the side after buying two 32oz smoothies. She said we charged extra for each cup and asked if that was ok. I said they usually never charge for that, she rolled her eyes and walked away. Also there was a hair on one smoothie! Never supporting this location again!

This Smoothie King banned my daughters from in house ordering at their store. Which means they are no longer able to come into the store to place an order. I am writing this review because I am appalled that in 2023, a paying customer that has not created any disturbances can be banned from walking into a store for service. My 16 year old African American daughter was denied service at this New Caney Smoothie King. She walked into the Smoothie King around 8:45 p.m on March 24th. She was told that the manager said they can no longer take in house orders from THEM anymore. That’s both of my daughters. That they were blocked. She was not served and had to leave the store. She was confused at first and felt humiliated that she couldn’t purchase a smoothie. She thought it was because of the time and they were about to close. She walked out devastated that she couldn’t order a smoothie. While in the parking lot another customer of a different ethnicity came in and was able to order. I spoke with my child to see what would be the cause of this. She explained that she wasn’t sure, but a week ago she asked that a smoothie be remade because it didn’t taste right. Which was the second time this had happened and apparently they have been blocked from in house orders. I called the store right at closing, but no one answered. I sent an email that night. I also called the store on Friday the next morning to address my concern. I asked to speak with the manager. The male on the phone identified himself as the manager. I expressed my concern. The manager referred to my daughters as the Jones’ girls. This was without me even mentioning their names or mine. The managers and cashiers seem to have labeled them as the Jones’ girls and have been told to block them from ordering. I was told by the manager that this was because they can’t account for the waste overhead of having to remake a smoothie. This is very upsetting as a parent to hear. I have sent an email to request to speak with the owner. But I haven’t received a response. I’m interested in knowing if this is the standard procedure for any customer that has asked for a smoothie to be remade and if others have been blocked for service. I’m not sure if the waste was a lot. But it was two smoothies. I’m sure at the end of the night you have a lot of waste that is unaccounted for instead of servicing customers with spoiled goods. Asking for a smoothie to be remade doesn’t warrant a refusal of service. The first time was because the smoothie tasted like it had soap left in from cleaning the blender. The other time she said it tasted like bananas were added to her strawberry extreme. She explained that the manager told her the smooth was right and he knew it because it was made by him. But that doesn’t mean it didn’t taste right to her. I normally don’t write negative reviews. I’m writing this review to let others know about this incident. My girls have been labeled and treated unfairly. They shouldn’t expect to be blocked or banned, if a smoothie is asked to be remade more than once. In this day and time anyone should be able to go in and purchase a smoothie or any food without refusal. Even if it has been asked to be remade again another time before. I don’t work at Smoothie King, but I am certain that there has to be an allocated budget for expected waste. As to my knowledge, they don’t have a sign that states their establishment has the right to refuse service, if a smoothie has been asked to be remade again. If so, I would strongly suggest that this be made visible to all, if this is the case. But there is a sign that states, if you don’t like your smoothie we would gladly remake it. Apparently this is not true. In my opinion, this is horrible customer service and a very disrespectful way to treat a paying customer. Especially a defenseless minor. Again, as a mother, I am concerned that my children were refused service and made to feel uncomfortable at this Smoothie King!
