The food was good but the service was sooooo slow. There was an obvious power struggle between, I believe, the manager and the meat cutter. Perhaps the meat cutter was overworked and wanted a breather break because he took his sweet time responding to the manager's repeated requests to cut meat for a customer's order. It was an odd interaction between the two and made me uncomfortable. Overall, the staff seemed ill-equipped to handle a modest dinner line. I'd dread to come during a busier time, especially if the staff continues to operate at a lackluster pace.

Magdalena was very rude didn't respond when I ordered, just had to keep talking.Only heard half of my order so we had to wait longer when we got to the window then had an attitude.Her supervisor was also rude rolled her eyes at us.Overall atmosphere was horrible and food was mediocre at best. Won't be coming back :(

First time there. Got the pulled pork sandwich. Very dry and flavorless. My girlfriend got the pulled pork potato. She said the same thing. If you have to add sauce to meat. It's not prepared correctly. Sorry Pappas....

Drove through for pickup...yall were out of my sides of choice, chose green beans..which I only got 3 green beans in a cup full of onions and tomatoes. Mac & cheese ok. Sliced brisket was so wet. Ya'll have lost it. I'll never come here again. What a waste of money.
This a go to spot for us, especially when visitors are in town ?Parking: Parking is never a problem here, even with the surrounding shops.Kid-friendliness: We enjoy taking our kids here and they enjoy it too. Sadly, the self serve free soft serve ice cream machine with cones is no longer there. It was definitely a favorite for the kiddos ?, but it doesn’t stop us from going lol

We were on our way back up to East Texas. Party of four . Wanted three baked potatoes with brisket. One sliced beef sandwich. Ordered and no one told us the equipment (oven?) Wasn't working. After waiting approx 30 mins we went to the counter and spoke to Frankie the manager. He apologized and offered substitutions. Food was abundant and very good. He went one step further and gave us gift card to use at any Pappas location. He went above and beyond with excellent customer service. I was very impressed by how hard he tried to make things right. Customer service is alive and well. Thank you Frankie.
