The michelada was loaded with good stuff! The hot Cheetos with cheese was a really good portion size, too. The staff was very laid back and nice, we got through the drive through quickly.

Love the concept of everything. The variety of drinks and staff is super friendly. But you REALLY NEED 2 employees working at the same time!!!! 30 min waiting at the window, to even get order taken is ridiculous. Makes what could be a 5 star experience, well frustrating and not the best....

A hidden odessa gem. I heard of this restaurant from the oddest place. The Emergency Room! But it was the nurse that were raving about it. Saying it was the best BBQ joint in odessa. I've worked as a server through out my life to know how "particular" and critical nurses can be about their food. So I check it out and it is delicious! From the brisket to the mac and cheese to the banana pudding I say YES! The bbq barn is where it want to from.

I've been here before when the old owner was here, he was nice. Now the new owner is rude. I called in to ask if while I sat in the drive thru if I could put my order in advance. (Now there are 4 people working in there that I could see). 2 cars in parking lot and one in front of me. Not real sure how this is too busy to take any orders. He cut me off several times. He told me they had to stop taking orders. I'm stuck in the drive thru and can't leave. I asked him why I couldn't just put my order in and them get to it, were they closing? He raised his voice again and asked me what part of stop taking orders did I not understand? Well I hope the two companies I work for, who order for their rig crews 2-4 times a week, don't want BBQ. IF THEY DO WE WILL ORDER SOMEWHERE ELSE! I am fed up with rude owners! This "rude customer" won't ever be back! Two things there are plenty of in the Permian Basin... Mexican food and BBQ! Mac's KD's will be my go to for Midland crews and H-E-B for our Odessa crews! Oh ya and while he was hanging up I could hear him complaining loudly to all the customers and employees. Again... why do you think his employees have crappy attitudes?

Where do I start? I came by almost a whole after after closing because I saw 1 car outside and the staff and owner , I assume, still served me with great service and a few extra of their wonderful armadillo eggs. My kiddos, who do not usually eat them, were hooked from the first bite. Makes me a lil sad I didn't try the rest of the food. Next time for sure! Smelled like heaven!
