Vern's is great if your looking for a small town bar vibe. Everyone was nice and the bartenders were awesome about clearing tables. The seating is a bit crowded so its easy to bump into others though the patrons were understanding about it.The indoor smoking was the biggest problem for me personally there's not a lot of air circulation so my eyes were bloodshot, burned and watered most of the night. Went with my daughter Shelly and family Sammy Joe and Misty a young man that spent allot of time in my home has his own band now that plays regularly had great service, the band was great had a great I would recommend if you are planning to be in Onalaska check them out at Verns you want be disappointed. The band name is TCB

It's one of the best bars around the area. There are 4 pool tables they are decent. Bartenders are quick. Good music live or jukebox. 4 dartboards in all. There is plenty of seating and bar room.
