Too slow and their waitresses could learn to be more friendly.

Went to las milpas and spent 44 dollars on my whole order and went back because my order was reversed and sat at the window with probably the owner who spent the whole time telling me I have to do the waitresses job and tell them if I want flour or corn tortillas excuse me if I'm wrong but don't tacos al pastor come on corn tortillas and soft taco is a flour tortilla I asked for a credit or makeover but he wouldn't do it cause they were closed oh well I'm not going back anymore.

Nothing really wrong with the atmosphere if you keep in mind it's small town and family owned. Just put 4* for that because its not like... super relaxing. It is at least cozy. Best tacos in OG.

The food was really good. The tea superb. The waitress amazing. The chips were great! Only downfall was we ordered charro beans and there were no beans. Maybe 4. Then, we ordered grilled jalapeno and got seranos instead. Just not the same flavor.

Food was good but was disappointed with the service. When I went to pay, the bill was much higher than I expected. Turns out they charge $3 more per plate than what’s listed on the menu. There was no posted notice of the change in price and the server didn’t let us know beforehand. The crooked owner just said everyone in town knows their prices went up years ago. Needless to say, he was quite rude about it and refused to honor the menu prices. It was not worth the drive from Mathis. Just go to Corpus for better Mexican food and service.

PRICES ARE NOT AS ADVERTISED. We went to pay and our bill came out to more then what it should have been. Man said everyone here knows the prices are different and sarcastically stated that its been like that for 3 years. We are not from there so how are we supposed to know? Prices aren't marked to reflect current prices, no notice on menu "hey all plates are $3 more", not on door, advised by waitress. Nothing. Beware of that incase you are on limited funds. Went to ask for a refill and the man which I'm assuming is the owner told the waitress "no la llenes, no la llenes, no la llenes!",(do not fill it up). Another man came in to pickup money for idk what and said, "that's it"? 'Owner' says that's it and throws his hands in the air with smirk all over his face and body language turns around and walks away. Other man left in disbelief. If that's the owner he represents that restaurant very badly. Food is alright but would appreciate if they would be upfront on prices instead of snaking people. A better attitude goes a long way.
