Quiet, small restaurant with really nice food! I ordered pork + chicken kabob plate and it was quite nice! I really enjoyed how tasty the tzatziki sauce was. I've also had the lamb gyro before and it was good. Great healthy and homemade food in the neighborhood!

best gyro ive had in years huge bang for your buck, ive already gotten three meals out of this and im 180 pounds with a huge appetite. person at the counter was very friendly as well, see some pretty sour old folks in these reviews but the hate is definitely undeserved

Saw this place in the neighborhood and thought we would try it. The waitress was absolutely terrible. Never asked if we needed anything ordered tea never got even 1 refill. She stood at the counter playing on her phone. There was only one other table with customers other than us. My husband ordered Souvlaki combo plate. He even questioned that you get three for only $1 more than the 2 Souvlaki plate. The waitress said yes. See picture below of menu. When he got his plate there were only 2. He questioned it and was told it only came with 2. The menu clearly stated 3. We ordered onion rings and never got them. Then the manager stated he could change the menu anytime he wanted. You can tell they changed it a lot from the scratched off and hand written prices. We asked them why didn't he scratch off the 2 and put 1. Do not recommend.

This little unassuming storefront is a hidden gem! We have had the regular gyro, chicken gyro, hummus, and Greek pizza. All of it is incredible and huge portions! You definitely get your moneys worth. The staff is very friendly and helpful when you need suggestions. You can see the food being made fresh in the back. The decor inside is not what you're coming for, so be patient and wait for some of the best Greek food I've ever had!

Excellent gyros. The meal tasted and felt really fresh. The meal comes with the gyro wrapped in a pita bread and a side of fries. Fries were warm and crunchy. Front of the restaurant might've had a car run into it? There's wood panels where the restaurant front windows would be.

For was subpar. FIRST! I ordered the pork gyro and they gave me the traditional one. Sandwich had no flavor at all and was thrown together as if they were rushing to get to the next one. Tzatziki sauce was gooped randomly and made a mess. Horrible sandwich. The fries were less appealing than the sandwich. Don't even get me started on the mushrooms. Some breading didn't even have mushrooms in it. lol. The food was bland. This is Midwest flavor and not southern flavor I guess. Asked if they had Dr. pepper and gave me a small bottle of it. At least let me know you're don't care about soda machines. Won't be back.

Don't risk your life. I walked into Gyros Express because I thought I would try it. The floor was wet, and a few steps in, I slipped and fell. Twisting my knee and ankle badly. Instead of hiding behind the counter, the sales person could have warned me the floor was soaking wet. I will never, ever go back.

Gyros Express and More truly exceeded my expectations! The Greek pizza was a Mediterranean masterpiece, with a perfectly thin crust, aromatic herbs, and generous toppings. The Greek salad was a refreshing complement, bursting with freshness and drizzled with a zesty dressing. The warm, inviting atmosphere made it the perfect spot to enjoy these authentic Greek flavors. If you're in the mood for a delicious fusion of Mediterranean cuisine, Gyros Express and More is the place to be. I can't wait to return for more of their scrumptious dishes!

We ordered the jalapeño cheddars for an appetizer and it was alright. They were extremely hot, temperature wise, bit nothing better than the frozen ones you can by at the groceries. Then we both ordered the Gyro plate which came with fries and man, that was the best gyro I've had in this area. The meat was fresh so it came out steaming with tomatoes and onions topped with the house tzatziki sauce. Everything went extremely well together, the fires well seasoned, we did have to add salt cause we like our fies salty. To end our meal, we ordered the Baklava which was very rich and not too sweet, we loved it! I usually have baklava where the honey overtakes most of the taste but it was subtly used in this case so you could actually enjoy the richness and flavor. The service wasn't bad but they do cook everything fresh so it does take a while for the orders to come out. The ambience was nice, the pictures to the tables really made you feel like you were in Greece. The smell of the restaurant took me out of Deer Park and Traight into Athens, we enjoyed our experience. Overall, we highly recommend and will definitely go back to try their other items. 9/10.

The best in the business. So happy to see that he moved and is back open for business. I drive 15-20 just to get a gyro from here. Love that he allows me to sub the fries for a salad.

We first stumbled across this gem when it was located off of Pasadena and Southmore, 3 years ago, now on Center St for a year. Tried several other places for gyros and this is place to redeem them all. The owner is the cook and the waiter if he doesn't have waitstaff. So be understanding of the wait time. If your short of time, this isn't the place to go eat. But if you want to eat the best gyro ever, make the time and try them out. You won't be disappointed.

The Philly cheesesteak was very good. Nice little restaurant. Recommend calling in order.

My mom didn't feel like cooking because it's been too hot recently. We'd been wanting to try this restaurant since it's near the house. We ordered online and scheduled the delivery for about 7:30 pm on a Wednesday night. The online status said it would arrive late, but it was actually right on time. The main reason we ordered from here was because of the Akropolis Pizza. It sounded interesting. It had red onions, diced tomatoes, lots of feta cheese, and chunks of gyro meat. They really loaded up the toppings! It was very filling. Our only complaint was that the crust was insanely hard. We couldn't really bite it so we had to toss it out.I ordered a small Greek salad for myself with some gyro meat added. I was expecting a tiny side salad, but what I got wasn't small at all. I don't know if there was a mix up and I was given a normal sized salad, but I'm not complaining. It came with several large tomato wedges, red onions, cucumbers, feta cheese, one whole pepperoncini, two Kalamata olives (a little disappointing) and iceberg lettuce. The online order form said I had to pay for any dressing to accompany it, which I found odd. Don't salads usually come with at least one dressing container for free? Still, it was all very fresh and pleasant. The gyro meat was excellent! My husband ordered the Pork Souvlaki Greek Kebobs Sandwich with French Fries. We've never tried pork souvlaki before, so he wasn't sure what to expect. Tender chunks of meat were wrapped in a fluffy pita with red onions and tomato, and some delicious tzatziki sauce. I don't know if it's made in-house, but it was the best I've tasted! I tried some on a fry, and it was thick and flavorful. My husband said he enjoyed the sandwich, but thought he might like the meat better just as a kabob next time. The fries were kinda sad. I don't know if it's a result of being thicker cut or because we ordered them take-out, but they arrived rather limp. We like our fries crispy, and these weren't in the slightest. But maybe they would have been great if we'd been dining in? I'm sad they don't offer dolmas as an appetizer. That's an important staple for me alongside a good gyro. However, I won't let that stop me from returning!

Each time I have come here I have ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich. The pita is always warm, the chicken is flavorful, and the tzatziki sauce is plentiful. The sandwich comes with fries which I would recommend. I have gotten a green salad before but it was not my favorite. Service:Each time I have ordered online before going in. I would recommend doing this if you don't have much time to wait. Since it's mainly the one guy cooking and taking orders, it's not unexpected to wait a little bit for your food. Ordering online cuts the wait time for sure! He is awesome! Ambiance:Very friendly place that you might not notice unless you drive by it every day. I have not eaten inside but every time I go in to pick up my food, the place is welcoming and sounds of sizzling food can be heard from the back kitchen. Great place to try if you want greek food!
