Sadly this isn’t the Little Tokyo I was used to. The food was ok, but the service was bad. For starters, our waitress got our order wrong. Not only that but she was rude to begin with, and when asked simple questions about the menu, she did not make an effort to explain the platter. I understand her job is not to be our friend but it is a restaurant, and the customer service is a reflection of the business. I was disappointed with our visit and sadly can see the beginning of what may be the downfall of Little Tokyo if employees take on this behavior as well. Little things like these are what add up in the long run and have loyal customers go elsewhere (specially with new business’ opening up left and right). I will say that another waitress, Madison, was a sweetheart even though she was not “our” waitress. This is not a personal shot at the waitress who helped us, but more of a suggestion moving forward. Sometimes we make mistakes and we need to be reminded so we can take a step back and fix our short comings. I wish her nothing but the best and the business as well. Thank you.

Everything is amazing EXCEPT they REALLY need to stop making people order, pay, then sit. It's very much an unfriendly way to do this and with covid delt with they should return to the better way of greet and seat rather then the pick, pay, eat leave it feels like we're just a problem.

I was a bit disappointed going there this time. I went with a friend for lunch. During lunch Little Tokyo doesn't let you sit down at a table, relax, and look through the menu. They make you choose what you want to eat at the hostess booth. So I felt rushed and I felt like they only want your money. Not a good experience.

This place is awesome, every time me and my girlfriend come here the food is amazing. The owner is very friendly, so are all of the employees. It's got a really cool room where you can sit, as well as several side rooms and an outdoor eating space. The Randy's Roll is our favorite, but there are lots of options to choose from.

This was the best sushi place in Pasadena, hands down! But after Covid their new set up they have is awful. It's the only restaurant style establishment, that doesn't have waiters. You order when you walk in, fyi go ahead and ask for an extra drink (refill) because no one will check on you if you need anything. If you're missing or need anything you have to walk up to the sushi bar. Bring back the good ole LT days!

Location is hiding but its worth the stop. Food was amazingly delicious and price is regular on what you pay for sushi. Plenty of different options on the food. Came in with a group of 12 people on a Friday night, awesome service and good food.

As you walk in you are told you have to place your order before you can even be seated at a table.Their menu is pages & pages long making it difficult to make a decision on anything.Once you get your food there is no one waiting on you for additional drinks, food, or even a takeout box. The atmosphere was very uncomfortable and the food was below average. I would not return..

Absolutely terrible.It's really hard to mess up teriyaki chicken. But this place has the absolute disgusting plate of teriyaki chicken I've ever had. First off, for the price point, for $15 I would expect more than BOILED chicken!!! No seasoning, the one piece of broccoli they give you is cold and nasty. The sushi we got taste like such low quality, it's amazing that this place is still in business. And there's no waiters or waitresses, just random workers that only come to your table after you flag them down. The whole experience was a disaster.

I enjoy coming to Little Tokyo for sushi. The establishment is quaint but clean. The staff is kind and efficient. The only downside is the ordering at the register. I would prefer to sit down and order but it's not a deterrent. The tuna tartar is delish!

It looked like it would have been as wonderful as I remembered from years past, however instead of being able to look at the menu and order from a table they now want you to order and pay for your meal before you are seated. I didn't come there for a fast food experience so we bowed out. Disappointed that they have not gone back to normal table service. This new model kills the ambiance.
