I ordered a pineapple chicken fried rice togo. When I got home and open the lid, I noticed the pineapple was missing. The fried rice did not have much flavor. As I was about to finish, I bit into a metal wire that I almost swallowed. Will not be returning to this restaurant.

AMAZING food and even better service!! The most authentic and genuine cuisine with the sweetest owner!! Highly highly recommend and is now a staple for us!

I wanted to try this restaurant and the reviews was ok...but this is horrible...this is not Chinese food and I don't know what it is... I was very disappointed with the food and will not be coming back... I ordered the orange beef and it had absolutely no taste..the pepper twins chicken was horrible... It's just chicken and peppers nothing special...if I can give negative stars I would..very disappointed

Not as good as other pepper twins. Limited menu, only one staff one site Food tastes ok, but somehow not authentic Sichuan flavor. More like a compromise.

Nope. Dan Dan noodles was essentially spaghetti with sauce. Said there were 4 spring rolls in an order, but they brought out 3. Very disappointed, will not return.

We ordered on DoorDash - General Tso's chicken, Sauted Shrimp & Broccoli, and spring rolls. Everything was really mediocre. It could have been the dishes we chose, but neither of us really liked any of the food. The portions were good, the food was just disappointing in our opinions. We have eaten from Tang's a few times and like that better.

I'm a huge fan of the pepper twins location on Fairview street, but this Pearland location does not compare at all. We ordered delivery tonight and was very excited to do an early LNY celebration meal (even plated all the delivery food on actual plates to have a nice spread!), however dinner was completely ruined because most of the food was near inedible. The aromatic tofu we ordered was so salty that it was bitter. The rest of the dishes were also salty, but inedible for other additional reasons. The pork Chitlins had wood ear fungus cooked inside that wasn't cleaned properly, so that a mouthful of food had to be spit out because it was gritty. The Mr & Mrs Smith dish is typically made up of 2 meats (one of them white tripe), but our dish only had the beef which was so tough we couldn't chew through any of the dishes. Only the hot diving fish dish was still somewhat edible, and although doused in soy sauce it was the least salty of the four dishes we ordered. Saddest thing was that we paid over $60 for dishes that we couldn't really eat in the end of the evening. Luckily we had cooked 2 vegetable sides of our own, which will have to serve as our dinner instead.

My wife and I are moving to North Carolina. She's already there. This is the place she misses most. She asked me to get her the eggplant dish she loves and bring it with me. She doesn't care that it's going to spend 2 days in a cooler! We went to the original location in Houston for our anniversary 2 years ago and it's been our favorite food choice ever since.

Definitely disappointing that Pepper Twins has gone way downhill since earlier this year. We used to love getting food from here all the time but after these recent two visits, I don't think we'll be back. We ordered the Pepper twins chicken, golden tofu, and the dry-fried green beans. First off, the lady working there wasn't wearing a mask, which was deeply disappointing. If you're facing customers, you should be wearing a mask, period. No excuses. The Pepper Twins chicken was quite bland. The amount of both peppers and peppercorns was noticably less than it used to be. In fact, it was barely even spicy at all. Definitely not what you would expect for an item with two peppers on the menu. The golden tofu looked like it was a soup - the tofu was floating in a pool of starchy water. We've ordered this dish plenty of times in the past and it has never looked like this. It was also completely bland - like no salt was added at all. Honestly, the texture of it was enough to put me off. If you enjoy bland tofu in starchy, slimy water, apparently that's what they're serving now. The dry fried green beans was the only dish we enjoyed. It pains me to rate this place this poorly but the quality of both food and service has really just plummeted. I understand that restaurants are facing issues due to COVID, but there is really simply no excuse for missing items (from the last time I came here) to maskless employees to bland, soupy food. We'll be going somewhere else until Pepper Twins can figure it out again.

The food quality has slipped significantly in last several orders. Will wait half a year to give it a second chance.

I checked out Pepper Twins for the first time a couple of years ago at one of their Houston locations. What initially stood out to me about Pepper Twins is their focus on organic, high-quality ingredients. Since it's a Schezuan restaurant, a lot of dishes are spicy but they do have some mild ones as well. They make it easy for you by indicating which dishes are spicy on the menu. When I found out they were expanding to Pearland, I was pumped. I stopped by for dinner on a week day a couple of days after having surgery. While I was in some pain which made eating difficult, a great meal from Pepper Twins helped. I went with the salt and pepper shrimp which is exactly how it sounds and is served with rice. It's a non-spicy dish. Whenever I have a shrimp dish, the first think I look to is the size of the shrimp. If you've ever been to Red Lobster you've seen tiny shrimp that are not flavorful at all. This is not what you're getting at Pepper Twins. The shrimp were sizeable and cooked well. With that being said, I tried a bite of my mom's green pepper steak, another non-spicy dish, and it was to die for! The sauce was addictive. Next time I stop by, green pepper steak it is.

This is strictly for the food. We ordered takeout last night and it got to us hot. We ordered dry deep fried green beans, orange chicken, and kung pao chicken. The two chicken dishes were both off- either overly salted or overly sweetened and both definitely over sauced. I didn't like either and wish we'd ordered something else. The three containers of rice were a bit dry and crispy but the portion sizes were decent. The redeeming factor was the green beans. 10/10, I might just order only green beans from here.
