Food here is always good. We always get a bulgogi and gogi and share. The pandemic is hard on the restaurant industry and this place shows. Every time we visit there is only one server working between the hours of 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. I feel bad the server. I witness several guests turn around and leave due to wait times. If they had more staff I would give 5 stars hands down. For now, be prepared to wait or come right when they open at 5:00 pm. The booths in the left have grills but they never work in the past two years I’ve visited. Once they get staffed hired and train this place will make some $$$. I hope the owner/manager can this place back to normal this year. Like I said the food is fresh and amazing. It sure beats the drive to Bellaire to get great Asian/Korean food.

This used to be one of my favorite Korean places, but recently it's really hard to find when they're open. The hours are supposedly 5pm-8pm, but there's been quite a few times we've tried to go and they're closed despite saying they're open. Even in this window between 5pm-8pm. Last weekend we tried to take our family from out of town, but they had a sign on the door saying they had to close for the weekend. Very sad and worried this is a sign they'll be going out of business soon since it's the only Korean place in Pearland. I try supporting their business, but I can't purchase a meal if I don't know when they'll be open.

I have come to this restaurant a couple times because I love Korean food and this is the only Korean restaurant I know of in Pearland Tx. Customer service was ok, price is a little more expensive than China Town or Sugar Land, and the food option is limited but ok.However I have had my worse Pearland restaurant experience today. There was only ONE waiter on a Sunday night while the restaurant is at full capacity. I know it's still COVID time so I was alright waiting. My husband and I waited for a while and the waiter took our order. I have asked the waiters a couple questions about the soup, he sounded super irritated and had an attitude. I understood that he must be under a lot of stress but it was still inappropriate to show his frustration on me. My husband got the wrong food so it took them at least an extra 15 minutes to remake his dish. His Korean spaghetti was super salty. We didn't want to wait any longer so he just ate the glass noodle mixed with side dishes or my soup to neutralize the taste. I don't eat beef/pork so earlier I clarified with the waiter that the tofu soup with seafood doesn't have pork. He assured me that it doesn't have pork. Well it has PORK in the soup...again I didn't want to wait so I just picked the pork out but that left me with one single shrimp (seafood) spicy tofu soup....My husband didn't eat half of it because he was planning to recook it at home with some vegetables to make it less salty. We asked for a to go box but we never got one. We didn't want to wait any longer so we just left. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and I would be afraid to go back anymore.

They're always closed during business hours. The hours of operation on the door said 9pm but it was 7:45pm we went in and they said they closed at 8pm and their kitchen was closed. Similar episohas happened three times before. So we're not going there again. They've lost our business. Not going back.

We drove 30 minutes to get to this restaurant because of past reviews. When we arrived the server told us the AC went out, but they were still seating. We decided to stay since as I said we drove so far. When we sat down I started to ask about a cocktail menu and before I even asked the waiter said that they didn't have a liquor license in effect and that he couldn't serve any alcohol until their license was updated. Then he mentioned also that it was 7 o'clock and that the restaurant closed at 8 o'clock. He finished off by saying that we would "get the side eye" if we stayed any later. Usually if a restaurant lists its hours until 8 it means (every time that I've been out) that seating stops at 8 o'clock. Apparently not because at 7:35 he came and told us the kitchen was closing and that if we wanted to order anything else now was the time. He came back again at 7:45 and put a check on the table and said that he would take that when we were ready since we weren't having dessert. Even if we wanted dessert we wouldn't of had it because he made us feel so uncomfortable. Then he hovered until my husband put a credit card down. With that being said, along with feeling totally unwelcome, the food was subpar as well. The Korean side dishes that we were given had no flavor and the beef was so chewy it was like a rubber band. My ice tea was so water down that had no taste. I probably could go on, but I think you get the message. I started out giving two stars, but after I finished this review I decided to change it to one. Even though it was a dismal dinner we still tipped our waiter over 20%.

I’ve been here / ordered from here almost a dozen times and like the food, especially the bon chon, LA beef, and tofu soup. The service on the other hand is terrible and today’s was particularly awful. One time I ordered ahead, the waiter (not sure of his name, but he had a Southern accent and had brown hair) was incredibly impatient and rude and our food was done 30 minutes late. Other times I’ve picked up my food the wait staff has been generally unattentive, though there is an East Asian man who is always very helpful. But today was the final straw. My family and I walked in at 7:15 and waited at the front, the blonde waiter (who also wasn’t even wearing a mask) then starts saying something from across the store while using the cash register then yells across the store “come over here so I don’t have to yell across the restaurant”. That’s the first red flag and was quite rude but I didn’t want to jump to conclusions because perhaps he was just a bit stressed. After I walk over the first thing he says, in an incredibly flat an annoyed tone is: “Just so you know you can’t use the grills, you can’t order alcohol, and you have to wait so we can set up”. I completely understand that they can’t let us use the grills (the restaurant closes at 8 so it’s a bit close?) but without even greeting us he both yells for us across the restaurant and just says this list of things in an incredibly annoyed manner as if he is doing us a big favor?I’ve long been a fan of this restaurant even with its bad service and regularly tipped 50% during the pandemic to support them but I’m quite taken aback by the sharp decline and now consistently awful service that I receive. Unfortunately, my family and I will not be returning.

This place has gone downhill. Service was subpar. We ordered two meat dishes and I had to ask them to bring out the standard items that come with the meat. Bulgogi was bland, not flavoral at all. I asked if they can bring me some more marinade and I was told they didn't have any. The spicy chicken was the best dish. Not sure if I will return. They don't sell alcohol either, no soju

Our date night!!! The food was AMAZING and the service was superb. Collin was so nice and provided great suggestions for our 1st time there. We will be back soon!

The pickled radishes and LA ribs were delicious. We ordered kimchi fries that were not good. The chicken and pork were just okay. The waitstaff assigned to our table did not know much about the menu. They did not have chili oil or any hot spicy condiment.

Place was amazing. The one one one care, the small crowd, the great appetizers, food, & drinks. We'll definitely be back to try more of everything. Great job guys.

First time at the Pig 5/22/21. Lady that sat us was our server and could not be bothered to explain anything. We were newbies to Korean BBQ, frustrated and ready to leave. The other server working that evening, a young man, must have noticed our angst while serving an adjacent table because he came over and was extremely gracious to explain the process, recommend menu items, showed us how best to cook and in what order, and kept checking on us throughout. We had a great meal, enjoyed every bite, and truly look forward to coming back. He said he would be sure to serve us next time. We sure hope so! Btw- we did the cooking ourselves and ordered three meats 8 oz each for the two of us. Came with 2 servings of marinades and condiments. Was way touch food. Skip the pork belly and go with the ribs, brisket and ribeye.

Waited for 1 hour tofu soup and they gave us a fresh egg to crack it in our soup

Collin was great! It was our first time, but won’t be our last.

Came here to eat with my husband tonight and the vibe was instantly off. Workers were trying to be the least helpful. Was greeted by one employee who told us the grills were "not working" and so they would not be able to serve us, but after we questioned him further he said "Well I guess this one is working." After he seated us and we were able to order, the food was decent but overpriced. Also, strange thing is that this place closes at 8pm. We saw that they even started turning away customers as they approached before 8pm. Our waitress asked us if we would like the bill not 10 minutes after our food has finally arrived to the table. She proceeded to circle our table every 5 minutes afterwards to make sure we had given payment. They probably wanted to close early to leave for home. We lost appetite not surprisingly after and decided to pack up food for home. Does not seem like this restaurant is interested in making business. Would make the drive to KBBQ in Chinatown until hospitality and professionalism among workers is addressed..

There was plenty of parking in the front we decided on using the Grill which includes rice and traditional Korean side dishes we had marinated Ribeye $23.95 and the *Spicy Pork 16oz $19.95 which was cooked in the back and dumplings 6 of them for$6.95 pork pot sticker. Everything was absolutely delicious and more than enough for three people. This is a must try for a great Korean restaurant.
