I ordered to go last saturday 4/6 and I usually don't leave reviews let alone bad ones however for the $63 that I spent on a few items it was beyond lackluster quality.The shrimp fried rice and crab puffs were the only things that was ok, the pepper steak was trash AF, firstly the container wasn't even full LOL it look like the cook may have helped himself to a few bites secondly it wasn't even hot, so yes warm half eaten pepper steak! Idk if I can even call it steak because the meant was so thin sheesh they're stingy, Now the egg rolls were hot garbage small burnt and just not good.Ok the Lo mein oh mane where do I even begin to describe the atrocities of that noodle dish! Ifeel like that place is only still open bc of the convenient location in the shopping center. I decided to order from there while waiting for the 72 ppl to leave the Ups store next door and I really shouldn't have.For the money I invested into that place I simply feel taken advantage of.

Good value for the lunch special-$9.50 gets happy family, egg drop soup, egg roll. The happy family had chicken, beef, and shrimp with no pork or that fake lobster stuff. It also had onions and bell peppers with no other vegetables. I expected more stuff to be in it. Not sure if that is the common recipe in this area, because it's not what I'm used to for happy family. The soup was very good, and the egg roll was average. Sweet and sour chicken was very good. All food was hot and a nice lunch size

Food use to be good…They always mess up on the orders. They use to deliver food to my street and out of the blue they decided to stop delivering it to my address. The Hispanic lady that’s in the front is always rude. Warning spend your money elsewhere you will be disappointed with the orders always messing up or missing items.

So I usually order the hot and sour soup, but I’ve went back and tried the beef and broccoli and the hibachi chicken. I was afraid to try anything else so I really wanted the worth to be there, especially for the chicken since it was $20 for the chefs special. I was right to be afraid and was so disappointed in both entrees. The soup is the only thing that saves this place but I don’t think I will be back.Things are higher than what they need to be, and I would feel better if the value was there. However, I see no value in over cooked chicken and bland at that…I wish you all the best and hope you can bring better food in the community …

I have been going here for at least 15 years and they have done an excellent job. I usually get the chicken fried rice but have got their beef from time to time. Their meat is premium. I never get meat that has gristle or fat in it unlike other places. I drive about 25 minutes one way from another town just for this food. This place is family owned and has been run by the same person since it opened. Nice quiet and well kept restaurant. Prices are actually affordable despite the poor economy. I recommend Silverlake Hunan to anyone looking for Chinese food.

Ok where do I start. Was told this place was the best in Pearland Tx. Well it’s not ; maybe 20 yrs ago because not only is it’s outdated for the atmosphere itself. The service is not it from the owner / waitress; ok NOW the food OMFNG!!! Soup(wonton) HORRIBLE consistency to DAM THICK , the spring roll are store bought, I had the chicken & vegetable in garlic sauce which was So-So no garlic taste or garlic in sight the rice was ??♀️ Only thing that was good was the sprite. All in all 1 ⭐️. NO AUTHENTICITY AT ALL
