Kountry Kitchen

I came over a thousand miles to eat here. Actually I came to Petersburg to pickup a water tank trailer at Wylie’s Manufacturing Co. and I was told there was two choices of places to eat lunch, either Allsup’s Convenience Store or The Kountry Kitchen. Came here after an event at the Tropicana nearby. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient. There were 4 in my party. We were seated immediately although it was on the late side. I got BBQ pulled pork with baked beans and a cucumber and tomato salad. It was all very good. We went to Dr. BBQ recently on a Monday for lunch. The venue looks very cool and definitely fits a bbq restaurant. You can smell the smoke as you enter the dining area (there is also outdoor seating). Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The menu offers some intriguing variants of normal bbq staples.
