I've stopped here before to pick up a meatball sandwich and thought it was great! Second visit I tried the chicken piccata and it was ok. Nothing amazing and the portion size was just ok as well. Service was just ok. There were 2 young girls working and they were very nice and they tried but they seemed a bit overwhelmed. I will come back because I want disappointed, just not amazed. Possibly the piccata just want the right thing for me. I could also do without the cigarette smell from next door, but after a bit it wasn't very noticeable.

The food is awful and overpriced for what you get. You'd be better off getting frozen Italian food from your local supermarket's freezer section. I honestly feel bad for the ladies who have to provide service in this environment. The cigarette smell from the bar next is terrible as well. Just a bad experience overall.

The food tastes jarred/packaged/processed and the place reeks of smoke due to the bar next door. Service was quick and polite, so that was an upside. We had a baked pasta dish and a pizza, with complimentary breadsticks. The pasta tasted like a microwaved frozen dinner. Breadsticks were cardboard. Pizza had fresh veggie toppings and decent enough crust, but processed cheese. It was more edible than the pasta. Will not go back.

Okay okay okay , in the other reviews ppls highest complaint was the smell of cigarettes and yes it does smell kinda bad definitely not a place for children but in their defense there is a bar quite literally next door causing that issue . Beyond that the food was honestly great . Me and my man got Alfredo and a margarita pizza that comes with the bread sticks that is basically homemade version of Olive Garden bread. The service seemed a lil slow taking abt 25 mins even tho we were the only ppl there but my server was nice and attentive and I did notice lots of TO-GOs so overall was worth the wait . Will be ordering again just togo .

The food was Yummy, and the sauce had good flavor. The pizza was crust nice. My only complaint was that there was a smell in the place(I think it came from the bar next door)
SMALL Italian spot in Pflugerville. Our first experience was takeout (they did a nice job) so we wanted to try eating in. As mentioned, it's limited seating but comfortable. We were seated quickly & the two ladies serving were doing a good job handling seated customers & to go orders. We ordered the Chicken Carbonara (nicely placed with angel hair pasta cooked well, this had a soft flavor and lots of mushrooms. Overall a good dish) I would have enjoyed a thicker sauce a bit more garlic.Pasta Sampler (a half piece of lasagna, manicotti & cannoli with an well seasoned red sauce) perfect if you're wanting a little variety. Garlic cheese bread (soft and delicious, with an ample amount of cheese). Our salads were fresh, cold & well dressed. Overall Joe's is a solid 3.5 's for us. It's clean cozy & tasty. Give it a try! Two detractors; no alcohol (wine) & the bar next door wafts a slight cigarette smell into the dining area.
