It is so hard to find good TexMex these days - at least in North Austin. This place is local to the core. It reminds me of the old East Austin Texmex kitchens from the 90's. The menu is vast, fresh and exciting....I loved the pictures of the food inside the restaurant! Great idea! I am back. I came back and spoke with the manager and she apologized for my bad customer service experience and gave me a coupon for 5 free tacos. I have to say that my experience today was definitely different. The staff was polite and professional. I didn't feel ignored. The manager was very polite, professional and understood why I felt the way I felt on my 1st visit. The Carne Guisada tacos are to die for here! They’re also decently priced.Open early for cheap breakfast tacos, and stay open late. Haven’t been here in the evening, but it looks fun with plenty of drink options.The staff are always super friendly as well!
