I’m originally from California and I came down to Texas with the family and we decided to go to main event and we had a really great time the food was great the time we had there was awesome we also had this very amazing server named Brandon he’s was very nice, considerate, and took great care of our table just wanted to say he’s a really great kid.

Service and atmosphere were fine. They are lacking in the clean dishes department. Myself, my mother in law and buddy all got sick ? from drinking out of their glasses. I know it wasn’t the food cuz my mother in law didn’t eat anything only drank some soda. I’d be very curious to see what Channel 5 News found out if they did an inspection.

TLDR: Staff do not share information, most likely to over charge you and waste your time. There is no explanation and lack of readable signage .The Customer Service is Lacking. I do not come here often, but the times that I have have been on days during the week when the days are slower then a weekend. I was never advised by the front desk staff that I had to reserve times for thing such as Laser Tag, or Gravity Ropes. I paid for a bracelet and was barely able to do each event. If I would have known I would have saved my money and paid for each one on their own. I waited with my child for gravity ropes and there was a large party Infront of us. Only when half the party went in and they had to shut the gate due to capacity, They came to ask me about my name and reservation. After waiting for about 15 minutes was I finally told that I could not enter but had to get out and make a reservation at a register that was tucked between the prizes door and the laser tag door with nothing more then a sheet of paper behind the glass saying reservation. I went over made a reservation for almost 3 hours out to use the ropes. I thought no big deal let me get in line and waste time using laser tag, after all no one was there. After another 15 minutes of waiting did the game attendant come out and ask me if I had a reservation. Mind you there was no one there and I was refused entry. Out of the 4 hours my family was there we only used each location once. I couldn't help but feel they just take advantage of lack of information to let you spend more money then what you may need to.

Our son really wanted to have a laser tag bday party so we decided to book it at Main Event in Pharr. We were very happy with their excellent services. The party staff was polite and attentive. They brought out the food on time, they brought us extra items, and they were on top of the drinks. The team leader was polite and very flexible. He was a pro! I'm not sure if they gave us the option to start the food early because we were the first party there, but we were glad they did that for us. We got pepperoni pizza, cheese bread with marinara, sliders, fries, and jumbo boneless wings. Everything tasted great. They have a good range of options from the menu/catering menu. We chose bowling and Lazer tag. Minimum height is 48"for laser tag. The facililty was clean, the set ups for the tables were neat and organized, and they give you an extra table for your cake/decor? Visit them for your next celebration--I highly recommend ? Just a helpful tip regarding decor. I regret not asking them about this before hand, but each table is actually 2 long tables put together, so I would recommend two tablecloths per table. They do provide table decor though and it's very it's a pretty setup. There were balloon centerpieces and they were nice looking.Vegetarian options: Grilled veggies, hummus, beyond burgers, etc.
Food is horrible, but not as horrible as there servers. Nothing but constant attitude, will never attend main event in pharr again, if you want your mood ruined and your night ruined go to main event in pharr. Pizza is cold and gross. Also there’s this one girl constantly giving faces at the bar acting like she’s the owner.
We came for a birthday party to celebrate my nephew, and the service and food was amazing. The server ALAN went above and beyond to make sure we needed everything and Although it was it was a busy day, we were never unattended. We would definitely come back to have an event here again. Thanks again Alan!!!
