“We live in the area and never tried this place before… well coming here for dinner was the best decision we made! If there’s anyone who deserves your money when you choose to go out to eat, it’s these people!! Maryann & her husband K have the most uplifting kind friendly sociable spirits. Even if the food wasn’t great their personalities would’ve made up for it. But the food was amazing and so unique, nothing like I’ve ever had here in Houston and we will 1000% be back! Both M and K come to your table to greet you as you walk in, they chat with you for a bit here and there and M (the chef) even came out to the parking lot to say goodbye to us and make sure we enjoyed our meal! The absolute best hospitality you could ever expect. They treat you like best friends/family the moment they see you! Give this new business a try and help us spread the word on this gem! We were surprised to see they serve West African Cuisine so my husband ordered the peanut soup (comes with shrimp and beef, and does not taste overly peanuty at all, it reminds me of a Mexican mole dish) my husband lovedddd it! and I ordered the Singapore mei fun which was delicious!! It’s thin rice noodles with carrot, chicken, shrimp, bell pepper and green onion with a curry flavor and hint of spice (she can adjust spice to your preference) and my 3 year old got the Lo Mein which is a thicker noodle with shrimp and chicken with a delicious sauce. He loved that as well and that says something because we all know how picky kids can be. The only note I’ll make is that although they have orange chicken on their menu but it’s not the typical Asian orange chicken like you’d expect, it’s still great, just different, maybe a west African version of it? Either way, come eat here!!“

“My friend has been raving about this spot to me so I was excited I was in town to visit and try it myself. This concept is actually really cool being able to create your own spring roll (or other menu items) they have all sorts of fillings for them. These rolls depending on how much you add inside of them can become very large so my friend and I shared and each had 1 because that was plenty for us! It was a really mellow night when we were there which was nice and the spot was super clean! They even had a kids menu for the little ones which is nice. There was a lot of variety of menu options here so I am sure you are bound to find something you'd like!“

“The Deck is the best place in the Magnolia area (that I've tried so far) to get tasty green curry chicken. Made with coconut milk, green curry, onions, vegetables and chicken, this dish is spicy but delectable. This restaurant also serves good bubble tea, but it is a little on the sweet side. If you need a recommendation for a good flavor, try the creme brulee bubble tea.“

“Place is amazing! I came from California to Texas. I must say, this place is better than the other Pho spots I had in Cali. The broth of the pho is perfect, the pork hot plate was amazing as well! The service is great, never left me hanging. I recommend this spot. Two times I’ve been here, and both times I left satisfied.“

“My wife and I dropped by this great new place off of 1488. It had a very “Austin-like” vibe with food truck style stations built out in some very colorful shipping containers. All of it surrounds a very clean deck with covered tables with hanging lights, including TVs, outdoor seating, yard games for the family, clean restrooms, and friendly management. The food was very good as well. Great place to chill on a low key date or take the kids for an enjoyable evening dinner.“
