“Frisco Bakery is a staple and a historic bakery in Plainview, Texas. Everytime I go to visit, I have to stop there at least once for breakfast every time I go to Plainview. I usually pick up food to go but I have occasionally eaten there as well. The bakery is clean and simple, with a fair amount of seating. The service is always friendly and fast whether using the drive through or going inside. My go to here is a couple pounds of barbacoa, refried beans, rice, and freshly made tortillas de maize (corn tortillas). I never leave without getting a couple of bags of that incredible pan dulce ( sweet bread). There is a variety of options to choose from and you really cannot go wrong when it comes to pan dulce here. People in Houston can quibble on the differences between Mexican and Tex Mex all they want but when I'm in West Texas and I want some food like my abuela and mom make, Frisco's hits the spot. It's true West Texas Mexican food and it's grrrrrreat!“

“When we first walked in we thought it was just a grocery store but kept walking and found the fast food part. Young man at the register was nice. Food came out quick and hot. Grandson ate the whole kids burger. Wife couldn't finish the chicken strips but said they were good. Would we go back? Yes!“
