After watching some instagram reels I went there yesterday. After going there I realized those all are paid promotions. The food is worst. I travelled almost 40 miles for this restaurant but not worthy. Prices are high, quality and quantity is not all matching with the price.

I always have the utmost respect for the restaurant business, since it so hard to make it in this fragmented industry. There comes a very rare occasion when I don’t like the service of a restaurant.Today was one of those days. I was going to fly out of Dallas today and my realities took me to this place. I love this hotel chain having had some fantastic memories with my college buddies back in South Indian. We ordered the Chettinad Vegetarian Biriyani.They was piece of chicken bone in The Vegetable Biriyani. Personally I don’t have an issue with but I was dining with Vegetarians and especially Bhramins who uphold a religious faith in being vegetarian.This was an attack on their faith. Having being disappointed and more importantly loosing Faith in this dear restaurant chain. I would certainly never dine there.P.S: Flying out with Lost Appetite.

Anjappar Plano – Very worst experience and service (Only Brand Name)Staff response: No proper staff to attend the customers and need to wait for long time to take orders and also no spoons and napkins in table, need to ask and wait for long timeHygiene – very less , we informed plates are not washed properly and they came and replaced the plate and gave the same plate in other table, by just wiping the plate with napkin paper.Food: Ordered for chettinad chicken biryani– No Heat , not sure when it was cooked and taste wise , no masala ingredients and salt, and tomato rice will be better and also no salna served with briyaniAlso ordered chicken kothu parotta – After waiting for so long and asked multiple times, it was not served; finally we cancelled chicken kothu parotta.

Food is not good. Doesn’t taste authentic. We tried bamboo biryani. Taste as normal biryani just served in bamboo.Worst service. You have to wait for everything and they will forget that you asked for water or cutlery eventually and you have to ask again.

To start with please check your order before You start eating. There are high chances it’s someone’s canceled order. Bad service rushing you to place an order even at 7 pm with no traffic. Food is cold. I visited in April 2024 and quality has degraded so steep. Step up Anjappar. Time to look at your quality and brand.
