Amazing: pork belly and cauliflower, chinese doughnuts, lamb skewer, fried bun, noodle bowls (dry and wet)

A really great quick place to grab a bite! My boyfriend and I enjoy coming here to get some of our favorite Chinese staples that we can't really get anywhere else. My favorite is the zha jiang mian, and we often also get the money buns, and the 甜醋排骨 (not sure if that's completely correct). The dishes are quite large for their price point in my opinion, I usually have to split the noodles into two meals and the flavor definitely hits the spot.

This place was terrible, everything tasted like cheap instant Chinese food. The menu had no descriptions or photo of anything. Gave us plastic utensils to use. Don't waste your time and money here.

Totally shocked that Big Claw doesn't have a higher average here. True, the service isn't perfect, but in my experience, the food is. Full disclosure, though: I am all about the spicy sour fish and have not tried a ton of other menu items. The spicy sour fish is amazing. Tons of chiles, tons of peppercorns, tender whitefish, and the most mouth-watering broth you can imagine. Order rice as a side so that you can really soak up the amazing broth. I also love the garlic eggplant, which is a whole small eggplant roasted, split, and covered in garlic and spring onion. The dan-dan noodles were also excellent, although when I got them as takeaway they did not travel well. I highly recommend Big Claw if you like Sichuan food and especially the spicy sour fish dish (which is whitefish with Sichuan chiles and peppercorns in a sour sauce). I look forward to trying the crawfish. The service is not bad, just indifferent. Food arrives fairly quickly. Some pics here:

Excellent, authentic Chinese food. Very attentive and personalized service. Family recipes that are very flavorful and fresh. A must if you want good Chinese food.

Kids love their cold noodles. Chicken soft bones, duck eggs, taro ribs, spicy tilapia...etc. are all very good.

I really wanted to like this place - but I can't say that I did. If you order water with your meal, you better pace yourself because it won't get filled again. The served even walked past me and my empty glass several times and completely missed it. I ordered Sichuan noodles and beef skewers. The skewers were good, but the noodles had no flavor whatsoever. They should have been spicy with a salty flavor - but instead, they just bland.

Had a dinner with my daddy last night, I could say the worst restaurant I have been. Food are not tasty. Poor customer service. I walked to the cashier give them the paper menu and told them what I wanted. Never come back for sure. :(

Ordered oisters, Sichuan noodle & salt pepper shrimp. Very flavorful and just the right amount of spicy heat. Will go back again.

This place is awesome!! I have been eating here for over a year and so far has been always consistent with the quality. I'm a noodles eater and here I found the paradise, but I have tried pretty much everything on the menu and is phenomenal. The big differences I founded between Big Claw and other places is in how delicate is the flavor of each dishes, and how they present the dishes. Last but not least the price is always very reasonable. I don't want to suggest a particular dish because I can't pick one over another just go there and try on your own

Wow! First time eating here and it was sooo good. Spicy noodles were outstanding. The sour fish soup was mind blowing, spicy, sour, savory, and numbing (from the szechuan peppercorns), all at once. I've never had anything like it. Service was a little spotty but the food was so good I don't care. Will definitely be back!

I've been to this place twice - first time the food was great, service was so-so but given the taste I can forgive shoddy service. Second time we came here we found a bug in our veggie dish....the server was nice enough to comp the dish but we lost our appetite a bit after that. Plus the second visit the dishes didn't taste as good, I wonder if they had changed chefs since the visits were a few months apart.
