Hands down the best milk tea boba I have ever had so far in DTX. Unlike places like sharetea they actually make sure the tapioca pearls were in the sugar water for a while so the pearls have flavor rather then just having no taste and just chewy. I haven't tried anything else other then their boba milk tea classic cause I normally don't get anything else but from just that on drink I can tell their drinks are great! Oh the pudding was also very good too!

We came here on a hot Saturday hoping to get some refreshing drinks while waiting for our lunch to be prepared next door. The interior of this is store is very bright, modern, inviting and beautifully set up. Their menu offer a variety of drinks and dessert. But the sad part was half of the menu was crossed off as they were missing some ingredients. So the drinks we originally wanted to try was not even offered. Also there was a foul smelling odor inside (like bad plumbing issues). We all had our face masks on and it smelled pretty bad. I usually would have just walked out but I felt so bad for this one employee who was holding down the fort. So we ordered two drinks. I ordered the milk drink with matcha jelly. It was not too bad. Definitely refreshing on a hot summer day. But the ratio between jelly and milk was so disproportional that I could barely taste the jelly. So basically I drank cold refreshing lightly sweetened milk. I wish them well and hope they will survive this pandemic and can offer their full menu again soon.

I typically like to try a place a few times before I form an opinion so I recently tried this boba shop again. We first stop by a few months ago and ordered the Green Tea w/ Cheese Foam & Boba as well as the Xian Cao Tea with Grass Jelly. The Green Tea was a little bland; I thought the drink needed more Cheese foam and the boba was just okay in texture and taste. The Xian Coa Tea was interesting lol. I have no reference to what this drink was supposed to taste like but I personally did not enjoy it. I can imagine some older individuals liking it so I assume I just ordered the wrong drink for me During our most recent visit, the store had a very offputting smell. When we went to order our drinks the worker was very helpful in suggesting his drink recommendations. We ordered the Cranberry Lemon Drink w/ Crystal Boba, Honey Lemon Aiyu Jelly w/ Crystal Boba, and the Matcha Latte w/ Crystal Boba. I liked the texture of the Aiyu Jelly and the Cranberry Lemon drink was nice and refreshing. The Lemon Drink was okay and I prefer the Matcha Latte from Full Boba which is located in the next complex. If you check in on Yelp, BlackBall offers a 15% discount on all drinks

great selection of healthier for you desserts including shaved ice and boaba milk tea ! note this brand is all about the herbal jellies, mochi 'dumplings', and asian brown sugar syrups from the islands in southeast asia (ie taiwan, japan, etc)

Love the vibe of the shop, but that's really it. Boba is literally everywhere around Dallas but BlackBall fell a little short on the matcha side of things. I'm also really big into customer service and that was lacking too. I live super close to this location so I was hoping I'd like it to make it convenient for me. They don't have a lot of diary free options either like soy or coconut milk which some other shops have. After reading reviews on here I can tell that people thoroughly enjoy it so I just don't think it was a good fit for me. I wish I had experienced the level of service some other people have expressed having to make me maybe want to go back and try it again. So that's unfortunate but it is what it is.

I bought a to-go order and the portion is as small as my fist. I though for $7 I would get more. I gave 2 stars because it's actually good. But the portion is not worth it. Not sure if I will come back again.

Black balls, LOL their name. Boba. Being a boba/MT addict, i love this place for their milk tea, both hot and cold. They're super consistent and have a really good tea taste! My boyfriend also really enjoys this place because of their herbal jelly, so he gets it with the fresh milk. He says it tastes really good and it's super soft. And they have these desserts that are huge! We eventually wanna try when we have more people cause he's the type who loves all the toppings that they have as options. Can't wait till summer!!

The taro balls are not as fresh as the ones at the Frisco store (inside the 99 Ranch Market.) Also, these two stores use different reward systems and are not interchangeable.

We checked out this place yesterday and the whole place smelled like dirty dishcloths. The drinks tiramisu milk tea and honey dew melon tea and both were not bad but their bobas were not good. The bobas were too hard and not chewy.

I usually would go for Meet fresh but I came for this one instead and I wasn't dissapointed to say the least. The grass jelly was so good as well as the taro/ sweet potato balls. My cousin ordered the taro milk tea and I'm pretty shore she liked it. There are several places to sit around the shop so you can kinda hang out around there. Friendly staff. The restrooms were pretty clean I have to say so myself. Despite the good seating arrangement and desserts, there was a funky smell when I came. I overheard that it is a plumbing problem? I also heard that the boss was informed so don't come after the staff lol. Be nice to the staff :))

My most recent visit didnt provide a good experience with them being out the first few drinks I attempted to order and then waiting 25 minutes for a single drink. I felt sorry for the staff because they were clearly understaffed and poorly managed. I've went in the past and had positive experiences so it's a shame to see it decline like this.
