Went there on a Friday for Happy Hour and the place was completely empty. Had the chicken tacos, the chicken was bland no type of salsa for the real taco eaters. I also had the so called great frozen Blue Margarita, it tasted like a slurpy. I ordered 2 shots of tequila to put into my margarita. Very disappointed!

ok, I have mixed feelings about this review. I was having a bad day to start off with, but I wanted Mexican food, but Blue Mesa is Mexican food with a twist. First, their frozen margarita machine wasn't working, and i really wanted a frozen margarita. so i drank water. They have some interesting and unique recipes that I am sure are wonderful. I. choose a chicken enchilada dish pancake style with a hard fried egg on top. The problem occurred when my egg was not hard fried and it leaked all over the food. I was done, couldn't eat anymore. BUT our waiter, Z (zee), was great and gave great service. He tried to correct and make up for the mistake, and he did sell us on coming back for the brunch buffet! so while I had a bad experience here, I will be back, and I do recommend it to others.
Server was really rude. Talked to manager but no use. And she was equally rude.

Our yearly Easter Tradition is to come for the Brunch buffet, although this is available year round this is truly one of the best meals I look forward to next to Thanksgiving. Great food and great staff.

Easter brunch food was fantastic. There were 6 of us and everyone thoroughly enjoyed everything. We had a late reservation - 3:00, but there was still plenty of great food and the staff was friendly and attentive. Our server, Astrid, was simply fantastic. I've been to numerous Easter buffets over the years. Blue Mesa is the best by a significant margin.
