Amazing food! Decided to try local and so glad I did! Definitely coming back~ We ordered two appetizers, udon carbonara, two rolls, and a donkatsu. The chefs were kind enough to give some extras that were super delicious! You have to try the fried rolls!

This place used to have the best Poke (as DonDon then as UmiUmi). Unfortunately during our last visit they removed Poke from the menu. Probably explains why it was empty at lunchtime.

Amazing food! If you're looking for authentic Japanese food look no further. Great food and service. Everyone greets you when you walk in and explain the menu if you're not familiar with their dishes. Food came out quickly and it was extremely tasty. This is my second time coming here and it did not disappoint. Will certainly come back!

I was expecting this place to be like DonDonPoke and more casual, but to my surprise it wasn't. HOWEVER - we were kindly seated to a table and they were fast with getting our orders. On top of that, our server was really friendly and my family got extra salad on the house along with two other small plates for their recent opening. The volcano roll that we had ordered came with small flames around it which was cool and it was seasoned well. Fresh ingredients and tasted good! Everything else tasted delicious too! Would definitely come back!

Went at this restaurant by pure luck and we were very pleased by the quality and quality of the food. Excellent Shrimps Tempura and Shrimp Sashimi. Very good and huge plates of Beef Teriyaki and Salmon Teriyaki. Very friendly and helpful service. A pity that they are not serving Japanese beer ! Overall, a big and positive surprise. We will be back !

First time at this restaurant and I will give it five stars because it is delicious. It is more expensive than I like, I know that food is getting more expensive and I guess I need to deal with that, but the rolls I tried were excellent. I had the anaconda which had a cacophony of flavors, and I had the deep fried California roll, also super delish. There's no sushi bar and the eating areas not huge but it's very nice and very clean and the service was excellent.

We just picked this place in a whim and it was so delicious. They remodeled the place and it looks super nice inside. The presentation of the food was prestige. I know this use to be a poke place but all of their other food is fresh and delicious. The waiter is kind and the owner is very sweet! I know this use to be dondon poke but they have other specials that are just as good. Definitely give a shot!

We stopped by Saturday afternoon to enjoy a poke bowl lunch. We were first told they did not serve unsweetened ice tea then told they do not serve poke bowls. While we were leaving another couple dinning commented they came in for a poke lunch too. The restaurant is nicely updated and the server was very friendly. I'm sure those who want sushi will enjoy this new restaurant. It is nothing like Don Don Poke... No poke!

Sushi rolls are on the smaller side compared to other sushi places in the area. Service was a bit lacking the day we visited (the week this placed opened after the previous poke business closed in this location). We ordered poke bowls and were told the bowls were pre assembled (to save time maybe idk) so that was the reason for the lack of customization we had enjoyed from the previous business... I found it odd then that they were able to remove the corn from one of the bowl but not the other and although they seemed to have tried to remove the jalapeños from my order, I still found some in my bowl... if the bowls were pre assembled does that mean they picked them out??? Yuck... and if they were not preassembled then why pick and choose what to remove!? ... idk it just rub me the wrong way. Bowl was also on the smaller side from what I had been accustomed to getting from poke places and taste wise the food is nothing special. Note most of your favorite complementary topping choices might be available for an extra charge in this place so check before you go crazy adding toppings. The ordering system is simple enough but in the era of covid is an odd choice that a restaurant would choose to have a single touchscreen kiosk instead of disposable menus or an ordering station... might as well order on your phone no? Overall this place is not the worst but will most likely not be returning unless I hear things have drastically changed.

I have been coming to this spot since I relocated out to Dallas. It has been the only place I trust to never disappoint for poke. I love the amount of food for the price. Everything taste fresh as poke should be. It's nice that some section when you make your own bowl, it can be add all at no additional cost. Of course, you have some sections which cost for additional like another protein. I like to make my own bowl here and haven't tried their set bowl suggestions. They have expanded and started adding sushi options now too. I like how with COVID measure recently, they had made the "make your own bowl" more sanitary. The make your own option is no longer a paper and pencil. It's a dry erase marker and dry erase menu to pick from. It's amazing to see this mom and pop shop grow. I don't know if the couple still owns the business with how popular they are. My husband does think the quality is alright and thinks it's due to change of management. However, until I find another poke place I like in TX. This is it for me. I've been a loyal customer and will continue to recommend this location until otherwise.

Best Poke around. I Really like their Teriyaki Shrimp and the spicy crab meat. Was on my regular rotation when I worked in Richardson

I love this place and try to come at least once a week. Lots of options to customize your bowl and the price stays around $12, even with a lot of add-ons. They are also very generous with the sushi portions and it tastes great. ☺️
