They seem to have permanently CLOSED DOWN. Boxes everywhere and 'store closed' signs on windows.

Dirty, trash can overflowing, poor service, not very friendly. And the bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned in several months. But at least the bagel was good. Won’t be back to this location again.

Yikes! My Latte came out of a pre-mixed pitcher which was then microwaved. Tasted terrible. My toasted bagel was not toasted. It makes a difference if your customer service is indifferent. Sorry but there are much better locations for Einstein's.

Something's got better with covid and Einstein's is one of them. The lines aren't as long and I haven't seen them run out of bagels recently. Pre-covid I found that they often closed down early and didn't have much available in the afternoon but for the last year or so they have been awesome. Good bagels, fast friendly service and the coffee is great

Rude! Only person in line.…waited 5 mins and Lady working the counter is horrible. Walked away from me without taking my order to sit and eat her breakfast. Had to wait another five mins for cook to wait on me. Wow! Dont bother visiting here. I’ll find another bagel joint until they find friendlier staff. Too bad- sign of the times but I won’t submit. Would give -10 stars.

They got my order wrong! Sucks to order 12 bagels sandwiches and when i get home find out they didn’t gave me my order right

79 cents for butter! I understand inflation, but charging an additional 50% for butter is ridiculous. Plain bagel was $1.89. Bagel with butter was $2.68. Profit is one thing, greed is another.

Customer service needs major improvement in this little town. The food is a 4/10. Almost everything in this area has under 3 stars, I'm not sure what's going on but I wish better days on this city! Shepton, Plano has not been displaying any worthwhile excitement for a recommendation. Einstein Bros (this location) needs improvement.

First of all the lady that served me was so rude, I asked for the bagel to be toasted with cream cheese. The bagel was not toasted all the way it was real chewy and doughy. I do not recommend this place.

AVOID THIS LOCATION BY ALL MEANS !!! I have finally had enough and wanted to voice my opinion of this location- I looked at the reviews only see the majority of customers feel the same I had stopped going to this location due to the poor service, never getting my order correct. I know I should look before I leave.... To this day they have yet to make my order correct!! They do ignore you when you walk in!! I thought it was only me ! I understand the lack of being able to hire , hire good effective employees- theses are the same people that have been here before Covid! There is no excuse for this. The only way to make a change is to be the change! I WILL NOT BE SPENDING MY MONEY AT THIS PLACE AGAIN.EVER Robert- IE Manager , I also understand that your response is automated to each issue that comes up. It you truly care about this business and how it's run MAKE THE CHANGES THAT NEED TO BE MADE. Time to step into your business and see how it's run- I truly believe no owner would allow this to continue. Really read the reviews Robert- and act on them!.

Honestly I tried my hardest to give these people the benefit of the doubt and thinking that the reviews on here were harsh...but nope the reviews were definitely accurate! Been coming here for a couple of weeks and I agree that the business manager has to take his/her L...either hire better people or close it down completely. As Brian C mentioned in his review, I understand that it is a family-owned business from the looks of it, but you seriously gotta have good customer service if you want more people to come to this shop. As he also stated, the old fat Hispanic gentlemen will sometimes just sit and not take my order EVEN WHEN I AM STANDING THERE WAITING TO ORDER! And sometimes they will mess up the order...like bruh how do you mess up on what spread I want on my bagel -.- even the short chubby Hispanic girl is pretty useless as well. And please don't think I'm being "racist" as I myself am a half Hispanic woman and I would speak to them in Spanish and be nice but they would be very one-sided (not willing to talk). I even brought my bf who also speaks Spanish and Portuguese here and even he said that the older lard gentleman was not very sociable. The only person that has shown to be hardworking is the older woman in the hijab. Anytime I ordered from her, my orders were not messed up. Anytime I saw her at the cashier, I would order...if not, then I would immediately just leave cause I don't want to waste my money along with the high probability of having my order messed up. Going back to sometimes getting the wrong spread on my stale bagel, I definitely agree with Faith J -- why am I paying an additional $1.50 for a spoonful of cream cheese?!?!! This is my first time ever giving a 1-star review but it is the brutal truth. To the business manager, Robert B, if you are reading this: I really hope you make the changes that others have stated on here...because at this point you are reaping what you sow, and the reviews on here are living proof.

It's no wonder that this location has a rating of 1.5 stars currently. We just moved to the area last month, and this is the closest Einstein Bros. Bagels to us, so I wanted to give the location a try despite the terrible reviews I had read. To experience it myself firsthand was enough to confirm that I will never return to this store. Merely from observation, I assume that this is a family-run business, and on this Sunday morning, it appeared to be a mother, father and their daughter running the operation. Having been a business owner before, I know the hardships and stress involved and try my best to support local, however, you dictate the success of your business through your customer service and efficiency. This location heavily lacked in both aspects. I used the mobile app to order two bagel sandwiches, and was given a 15-20 minute window of time for the order to be ready. Though I was only 2 miles away from at the time, I decided to run a couple errands to give enough time for the sandwiches to be prepared. Side note: Though not necessarily a fault of the location, the app should not offer "drive-thru" as a pickup option when the store clearly does not have a drive-thru. Roughly 20 minutes later, I arrived and walked into the lobby. There were about 4-5 other customers that appeared to be waiting for their orders, and there was not a smile in sight; everyone looked somewhat annoyed and impatient. I walked up to the end of the counter where I assumed mobile orders would be sitting, and was not acknowledged by any of the 3 workers, even when 2 of them walked toward me to call out ready orders, and made direct eye contact with me. The older and younger women were busy taking care of preparations, while the older man was just standing in the middle of the prep area idly. After some time, I finally realized what he was waiting for. He appeared to be heating up a homemade meal in the same microwaves that the store food is prepared in. Though not necessarily unsanitary since it was all in a Tupperware, I am sure that this is likely not a preferred practice from the Einstein corporate office, especially when you have a full lobby of customers waiting for food, and there is an employee taking care of their own needs first, in addition to the semblance of cross-contamination being perceived by customers. When I finally got a moment to stop the man to ask about my mobile order, he spoke to the daughter and after they both looked at the order screen, he turned to me and said "um, 5 more minutes." Considering the busyness of the place, I offered some grace in the timing, but that additional wait time provided me with ample opportunity to see the customer service get worse from here. As sensitive as I am to cultural differences and expressions, friendliness in running a business is something that should never be compromised. The older woman was blunt, harsh and short in her responses to customers, the older gentleman had resorted himself to a corner to eat his meal, and the younger girl was the only one that seemed to be trying to keep the place together. The tables were littered with crumbs and residue, seats were strewn about, and the overall lack of care was highly noticeable. To add insult to the whole experience, I waited patiently for my meal by sitting down and minding my own business until the delay seemed unnecessary, so I finally got up and stood in the same spot as when I first entered. The older woman behind the counter looked at me and asked if I was waiting for something, to which I said "my mobile order?". She then proceeded to grab a paper bag that had my completed order in it and had apparently been sitting there while I waited. My name was never called out, even after I made it clear what I was there for when I first walked in. Had I not stood up and approached the counter, who knows how long my order would've just sat there. If this was an isolated incident, and this store had glowing reviews, I likely wouldn't be commenting here and would just take my business else

They should just shut the doors. The bagels are stale and disgusting and the workers are rude! I asked if cream cheese came with the bagel and they said yes. And then tried to charge me $1.49 for a spoonful of cream cheese. When I asked about it all the could say was "huh?" Never again.
