They have some solid options for non-spicy lovers too. But let me delve more into their service. Like I said. Most of the time, it's tolerable. The baseline for Asian places like this is you simply don't expect a smiling face or patient attitude. Just go in, get your stuff order without requesting too much, and you're good. That's fine and all if you get the guy that's there to take your order. There's a lady there though. Try taking order from her and you'll get attitude. She just simply doesn't need to be working in the industry to be honest. We had her the last time we went but not this most recent time thankfully. She snapped back at us squashing our simple request of having the rice out first barking something about "you'll get rice when the dishes come out". Sorry but menu never mentioned that. That was just her own addition to a nasty quality of service.

This is a "real" Chinese restaurant complete with hand written notices taped to the walls written in Chinese, Chinese people speaking Chinese enjoying and cooking the food. They serve both Mandarin and Cantonese dishes.I've been to the Fish House 3 times:Twice I ate the Crispy Rice/Fish with rice. A delicious Cantonese style meal that will stuff two hungry people and get you out the door for $20 including gratuity. Delicious, delicious, delicious!Third meal was the House Special Duck and Egg Plant with Brown Sauce.The House Special Duck (I choose "extra spicy") was cooked with liberal szechuan peppercorns and salt to give that heat and mouth numbing experience of Mandarin style cooking. This is a great dish to enjoy with beer!The Egg Plant with Brown Sauce would properly be called "Egg Plant with Black Mushrooms" - and was as good as I ever enjoyed. Fish House cooks both Cantonese and Mandarin foods perfectly as far as my 3 trips can verify.The portions are generous, the food is delicious and the cost is most reasonable.

My Favorite restaurant in the city 10/10 definitely recommend! We take all of our friends there and have never been disappointed. Our fav is the chili wantons but we always get something new each time too! My fiancé and I drive all the way from Denison just to go there

Came here because it was recommended to me. Despite some of the reviews, I feel like people really need to give this place a chance and gain their own experience. They don't speak much English so asking questions about the dishes can be a little difficult. But we just went with some recommendations given to us along with what sounded delicious on the menu. We were very surprised with how fast the food came out and how delicious everything was. Each and every dish tasted different and had their own flavors. The seasoning is very unique and each bite was so full of flavor! Would definitely come back here to try more new dishes! Especially since my 1 year old approved all of the dishes!

Nice restaurant serving some good authentic fish item. Whenever In this market place my husband make sure to get boiled fish soup that is something his favourite. Has a very homely taste which is difficult to find in other Chinese restaurant. Once we got fried fist and taste was great with good portion size. As fish place you will find the place to be lil expensive but it’s completely worth for what you get.
