Great burger place, seems dingy from the outside but great burgers, guy even cooked our burgers medium rare for us. Great execution on building the burger, wasn't half 'A'. Will be coming back.

Nice guy at the register very quiet and pleasant to sit and eat without disturbances, could use with some metal cutlery though.

Great burger and fries! Some place I like the burger and not the fries and at other place, I like the fries but not the burger. At JCs, I like both the burger and the fries. They have three sizes of burger. I recommend the medium size one. At least that is my favorite one. Really good flavor.

JC's is definitely one of my favorite local burger joints. It has been a Plano staple for so many years. I think I first went to this spot in maybe 1999. I don't get by there as often as I like, but it is a great burger. I also love their fries. Years ago I used to get their handspun shakes, I have lots of nostalgia for them, but I haven't tried one in years. They were so good. Mostly, it is one of those places that makes me happy because with all the change in growth in North Texas (which is fun and exciting), it is nice that there are some older places still plugging along cooking good food.

We had a single with cheese and the Juarez with an order of fresh cut and curly fries. The food was solid, made well and fairly middle of the road relative to their peers (Olive, Jake's, Dugg, Scotty Ps).The prices are fair. They were understaffed (like many places) and did very well despite the circumstances.

I had a craving for burgers and tried this place out. I remembered a work colleague liking the place. I picked up the order and everything seemed in order and etc. I got home and couldn't find the chili I ordered. Then realized the small condiment container was the chili. It's not much bigger than the container for bbq. But that is fine. I didn't want too much of it anyways. I was contemplating putting it over my fries. Thank goodness I tasted it first. It was very salty. So I got out some crackers to cut the saltiness. Still didn't work, so I gave up on the chili. Then I moved onto the loaded fries I ordered. Totally yum. Would definitely get them again. Too bad I can't say the same about the burger. I got the nooner. It had bacon and an egg on it. The egg was so over cooked that it kind of tasted rubbery. So I pull it out of the burger and put it into the trash can. Much better. So the rest of the burger was ok. Not the best, but definitely not the worst. Next time I'll just get the full portion of the loaded fries.

I knew the reviews were mixed on this place before going but I still gave it a try. Burger was very underwhelming. Reminded me of the last time I ate at Burger King 20 years ago. Burger, rings and drink for $14. I expect much better for that price.

My daughter and I attended dance classes at Milaana Dance in the same complex. Perfect place to replace the calories you've just burned . Burgers are solid! We had two Juarez burgers one with jalapeño and the other with out. Burgers were LARGE and fresh. They were a bit over done for my taste, not to say they weren't juicy I just prefer mine medium. The buns were buttered and toasted which is always welcome. The side order of cheese fries we had weren't great. That's really the reason for our 4 stars. It was just melted shredded cheese on top of fries. The fries were fresh cut!

I LOVE this place! The food is always fresh and hot. Everything is so good. We've tried pick up and done in-both were excellent! Very clean dining area. Super nice people! My new favorite hamburger place!

For $16 and no drink, it’s a bit pricey for the meal, especially since the food is okay and I also like to tip but it’s just too much. I’ve been coming here a long time and the price use to be reasonable. Can’t say the same anymore, there’s some other burger joints down the road that are definitely cheaper and taste just as good if not better. Hopefully the pricing will get sorted out so I can come back again!

Good environment, the food however…1. BurgerThe patty was cooked all the way through, dry, and flavorless. Not seasoned as well. Really flavorless burger2. FriesThey are just fries, nothing special, underwhelming, flavorless. Needed salt3. PriceToo expensive for the lack of taste. If this was a $8 meal, I’d be just fine. But you’ll spend about $12 a person here, so it deserves a harder review. Definitely not going back

I read an article about JC's in the Plano bulletin and decided to give them a shot. I ordered the Nooner and Works burgers with a side of large onion rings. The Nooner hamburger patty lacked flavor and the bacon was a tad overcooked. I thought they forgot the fried egg since it was smaller than expected and buried under toppings. Looking at previous diners' photos, the bun looked rather dry and basic, which I can confirm. I wish they could spring on a fancier bun...brioche perhaps? or something more special than your school cafeteria bun. The onion rings on the other hand were good. I really like that smooth crispy batter. For $8 a burger, I'd try another local burger joint before coming back here. Only time I'd come back is with the BOGO burger coupon I've seen in the mailers.
