Nestled within a bustling plaza adorned with various dining establishments, this venue, while modest in decor and lacking the traditional Japanese restaurant allure, truly stands out for its exceptional service and delectable sushi and appetizers. Kudos to the dedicated owners and staff for crafting such delightful culinary offerings. During our visit, we savored a variety of rolls and appetizers, each impressing with their freshness and impeccable balance between rice and fillings. Without a doubt, we look forward to returning for another culinary experience.Vegetarian options: Lots of option on menu for vegetarians and veganDietary restrictions: They are able to make adjustments to menuParking: Lots of parking in plazaKid-friendliness: Kid options availableWheelchair accessibility: Parking handicap right in front, wide entrances

Really solid sushi! The simple sushi rolls are about $8 and more complex rolls are $16. We got 3 rolls and chicken karage. Everything was yummy and great for the price. Fish was surprisingly fresh tasting. We came in late and they were happy to service us. Highly

If you are some one like me always looking for authentic sushi and great hospitality in that case do not miss on this family owned and operated restaurant. I am impressed with the owners passion in their food prep work and caring for their customers. I have become a part of their family and friend. They know me from my first name. Keep such places in Busiess other wise BiG corporate businesses are destroying our communities and our kids future. Keep in mind you are preserving communities by making Kitaro your top 10 list forSuchi choice.Vegetarian options: Excellent options for vegetariansParking: Great place for Casual taking your kids and you will always have an home feeling

Kitaro sushi is hands down among the best sushi I have ever tasted. It tops everyone in the DFW metroplex by far and even several high quality locations in California or other great locations. It is such a hole in the wall place you would never expect to eat at. Truly life changing sushi.

I have been a frequent visitor to this sushi restaurant, and it's about time that I share my experience with others. This restaurant is run by a lovely and caring family, and it reflects in their delicious food and excellent service. The sushi options are abundant, and they all taste amazing. I am always impressed with the quality and freshness of the ingredients they use. What I admire most about this restaurant is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is always courteous and attentive, making me feel like a valued guest. It's evident that this family puts their heart and soul into running this restaurant, and it shows in everything they do.Overall, this place deserves 5 stars rating. If you're a sushi lover like me, then you must give this place a try. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Everything about this place is fantastic. There is a lovely older aged couple that is running this place. I went inside, and order takeout. It was quick and I loved how they are doing their best learning the newer technology checkout system. The food was delicious, you can tell it was fresh as can be and made with love. They deserve more business as it was a bit empty for lunch hour. I also loved how they provided a card with their new online system and a discount code.
