The food is very good. I would love to leave a better review. But I can't. I have eaten at this restaurant twice now. The last time I was there, the wait staff were not taking COVID precautions seriously. One waitress wore her mask under her chin. Another did not have her mask covering her nose. Fortunately, the only wait person to wear their mask properly was the one who waited on us. Otherwise, we would have walked out. This is totally unacceptable to me. That is why this week I ate at Norma's. There they all wear masks and gloves for the protection of their customers. I may try the restaurant again in a month or so to see if the problem has been corrected. But right now, I don't care how good the food is. If you don't respect my safety I will be dining else where.

Great restaurant. Very clean. Attentive staff. The biscuits are very flaky and taste like heaven. The cinnamon French toast was wonderful. Definitely will be back. It's nice to have a good breakfast place on this side of Plano with plenty of tables to accommodate the crowd and maintain social distancing.

What a difference a day makes! Hate to do this but...Came back the next day, again for breakfast. Service was terrible! Totally unattentive - had do ask for things like 3 times! No coffee refills or a howdy doody after being served.Ordered the Eggs Benedict which were OK even with the thick ham slice. However, they serve up the worst hash browns I have ever tasted! Obviously cooked in some nasty oil. Word to the kitchen! TRY BUTTER! - that's what makes good hash browns good!They have a big sign at the register asking to let them know if your experience was bad in any way so they can correct it. Well, I brought mine up and all they said was "Sorry - hope you come back!" REALLY?Well, this place ain't on my shortlist anymore.... Down 2 stars... Back to Poor Richard's I guess. At least they fix things....ORIGINAL REVIEWTakes bravery to open a new restaurant in these times, especially one with so much competition.Located in a strip mall, but well decorated and set up, it is a comfortable dining experience. Food is good and on point for breakfast with a large selection. Looks like they have all the bases covered. Lunch, although not tried, looks to be on point.Service was incredible! Haven't seen anything like it even in a 5 Star Steakhouse. Very pleasant people with great courtesy. Whoever trained them has done it right.So - Good Food, Good Prices, Excellent Service, Quaint Clean Atmosphere. They deserve success.As they are close to my neighborhood, I'll be back!

Oh my goodness!!! Lone Star Cafe is phenomenal!! I went to breakfast here this morning and had the Classic two egg breakfast and was completely blown away. These people can cook and everything tastes AMAZING!! Not to mention...the staff is super friendly and caring, especially the owner of LoneStar, Arzi. So anyone & everyone should definitely stop by and check it out. You won't be disappointed!!

We went here on the recommendation of some next door reviews. Loved everything. The farmers skillet and the biscuits and gravy were very good. My server was very nice and never let my coffee get empty. This is my new favorite breakfast spot.
I ordered breakfast through Uber Eats. I ordered sweet tea, I got a cup of something but it's not sweet tea. All the food was cold. I think the potatoes may have been good if it was warm. I won't make the mistake of ordering from here again.

Oh my goodness the best food ever! SO fresh and clean and homemade! We ordered chicken strips...something so basic was made with the fluffiest batter full of flavor and fresh chicken...best chicken strips we ever had! We also ordered the burger and the meat was so clean and cooked to perfection..also full of flavor! The owner is hands-on and such a pleasant person! You definitely must try it out!

Very big and soft and tasted really good. It’s really nice and homey feeling inside too. We will definitely be back and make this our new spot
