Always have loved the food here. The people who work here are also awesome. Lumpia you have to order separately but is amazing. Chicken Adobo, Fried Fish, Pancit Palabok, pork binagoongan, lumpia, and rice is what I got for us.

We really enjoyed this place! We had gone to ORC and Taste of the Philippines the day before. ORC was packed and we couldn't get in so we tried one of the side stands Mangan Tama Pu the Palabok was alright, the shumai was good, the other joint left us full, but not really satisfied so today we went out in search of that Filipino food flavor like Mom makes.Enter Luvie's.We walked in and there were three young guys behind the counter that emanated that friendly Filipino personality. They were helpful with the menu, and patient with our slow decision. We ended up getting pretty much everything on the line, an order of Lumpia, and two Siopao for the kids. The pompano was good, even better with a little Patis and vinegar! The pancit was very flavorful, and had a good amount of veg. The caldereta was great, kind of smokey and wonderful. Tinola, was a first for me, but it was super savory and absolutely delightful. The Chicken Adobo was good, well cooked, a little sweeter than we prefer, but still tasty! The pork BBQ skewers were super! Just the right amount of meat to fat ratio and a nice char to balance the sticky sweet sauce. Now, the show stopper...Sisig is an absolute must if it's on the menu, and Luvie's certainly didn't disappoint! The cook on the meat was just right, with the citrus and pepper balance was just lovely. Really, really good. To finish off the meal I had to get an order of Turon. I have a weakness for good Turon, and man did they make a good one here! We order some Boba Teas and a Halo Halo to wash it all down and really look forward to stopping by again.

I will be fair so I give 3 stars. It was my first time at Luvie's.. love the pork BBQ skewers. It was perfect, more on meat and less fat.I also love the Sautéed kangkong, they put jalapeños and ginger on it. It was little bit spicy but it was good!BUT I was really disappointed on their Suman. It was wayyyyyy over cook, can't taste the coconut milk/cream and not enough sugar for sweetness. The glutinous rice sticks to the banana leaves.Literally taste NOTHING! ?

Don’t go for the halo halo it’s the worst I’ve ever had, and as far as the food they really need to improve a lot

Great place! I ordered takeout, but they also have outdoor dining, which is great in this current pandemic. Spaghetti is GOOOOOD. This place deserves more love, pls visit.

The more these Filipino spots open up in the DFW, the more tempted I am to pack my bags and move to Dallas for good! Out all the new-ish Filipino food destinations in the area, Luvie's as by far our family's favorite. If you're looking for a catering situation for your next family party, go lechon kawali all the way. Who said vegetables are a stable addition to your American diet. Forreal though, if you want veggies their pancit bihon is probably their closest thing.

My mom called this restaurant (in advance) placed orders of food for a Christmas family dinner. They got portions of our order correctly. The lady gave some bogus excuse as to what happened to the rest of our order and did not apologize for misunderstanding. They offered nothing to makeup for their mistake/misunderstanding. We gave them another chance to redeem themselves and ordered food earlier this week for the New Year's Eve dinner. My mom called before we headed to the restaurant and confirmed if our order is available for pick up. The lady on the phone told my mom that the food is ready for pick up. Then the lady called right back to tell my mom our order was never placed. My mom had called the restaurant couple times earlier in the week about our order. The lady still talked as if my mom was making it up. When we got to the restaurant, the lady whom my mom has been dealing with over the phone told us she assumed my mom went by a different name; my mom and I were confused by what she said. I figured she assumed my mom goes by another name in their customer list. I'm guessing this lady never wrote down my mom's order. The lady never apologized and the restaurant staff did not offer anything (not even a discount) for their mistakes. We left the restaurant with nothing. It's obvious that their priority is not to make their customers happy.
